My guess is that if Trump himself had been elected SOTH he would have announced support for Israel. It’s all about the optics. Let’s see what actually happens.
Look at the bright side. When he isn't funding Israel, he will be doing MAGA. I suspect at some point, after we have been shown that funding Israel isn't in our best interest, the support for Israel among normies will dry up. I think we are at the beginning of "saving Israel for last".
