We got you Yinz. Wishing you all the best. 🙏🏼
Please pray it gets hit by a semi beeper it attacks my baby girls… it has gone after me,,, my elderly dog, my cats and it falls on def ears… I’m tired of mental retardation… little girls are worth more than a hamas dog… it might get one bite on me… I don’t know what to do… and I’m not a pit bull hater… I have a family friend that has a 100 lb pit bull and he his the sweetest boy ever… my fams are flirting with disaster and I can’t open their eyes… it is to the point, I won’t walk out to my truck without my tomahawk…
If you’re in a Life/Death situation with that Pitbull, and you don’t have any weapons on you.
You can jab your finger/thumb in its eye.
An old-black-man on the news was being dragged by a Pitbull, he jammed his thumb in its eye, and it let go of him.
it’s simple and effective, the eye is so sensitive and you’re not killing the dog, you’re saving your life and simultaneously not killing the dog.
if you beat on the body/head it won’t really bother the pitbull, those are superficial attacks it can ignore, no animal has “strong eyes”.
edit
Thanks… I now go outside armed… I have neuro issues and that evil thing knows my weakness. That’s why I now go out loaded for bear…
I sure hope you get a chance to use that tomahawk and dispatch that demondog before it kills one of the little ones... you might need to "entice" it to come after you so you can protect the children. once the dog is dead... your "adult" family might be pissed, but the kids will be out of harm's way.
If you don't feel justified in using the tomahawk or if it has to get to close for you to use that, what about hitting it's eyes with pepper spray?
I will pray they recognize the problem.
I know a family that had a young pit bull. It attacked their five y-o daughter, who needed 0ver 200 stiches on her FACE!!!!!!! These dogs are not good for families with small children who may not understand the "rules". Beware!!
That thing broke Billy baddass with me when it went after my cat… I’m my house cats and dogs are equally loved… and it got snappy on my elderly blind dog… if it goes after her,,, that pit will learn what pain is…
Factually they are nicknamed nanny dogs. In the horse days when mom n dad went traveling the kids were left w the dog. Because they're loyal fierce protectors . Dont lump all of a breed in the bad pot. It's people who dont train them who are to blame. It needs to be taught it's not alpha. That's all.
If you’re that scared maybe have a talk with your relatives about it. If it’s still a puppy there’s plenty of time for corrective training. How “evil” could a puppy be?
Done. Can you call animal control?
That's what I call my side arm. Last I checked it didn't have a phone.
Grin
Go to the Catholic Church and ask the priest for Holy Water and then sprinkle throughout your house and yard !! Pray to God for his protection !!
I will…I blessed my vit D oil and anointed my cats… everyday I pray for my cats,, I swear if it kills one I will loose my shit… even my husband don’t get it when I said it tried to bite me for no reason… but I got a clue when I grabbed ol’ Lucille …
Gosh, how awful. So sorry you're having to worry about that. I hate pitbulls. What about calling the local animal control to complain that it has come after you? I know you say it belong to relatives, but obviously, they don't care about your safety, so YOU care about your safety. Don't care about some brain dead morons who let a pitbull go after people. They need a severe wake up call. Saying a prayer for you and your situation. All the best.
Will pray -- meanwhile, you might also might try bear spray. :)
Prayers on the way.
This is kek
Start with quality obedience training. Failing that: Run a cable from the house to a tree or sturdy pole in the back yard. Put a chain on it. Hook the dog on the chain when it goes out. Gets to run around and do it’s business while staying out of range of the kids, etc. Check the wear on the chain every so often. We acquired a nice (big) dog from a family that moved. We used this set up so it wouldn’t get lost out in the country. I had to chase him down one time because he bolted as I was hooking him up. In my bare feet no less.
This probably only works if in rural area... Devise a plan to make it look like it ran off. Put it down with a silenced bullet. Devious? Yes. However, the safety of your daughter is more important than a demonic pit bull.
Consider bear spray, just be careful to avoid blow-back and be sure to also get some Sudecon or other decontamination wipes -- just wiping your face with soap and water to get that stuff off makes it worse, I hear.
Thanks for the prayers and advice. The dog is leaving.
You need to call the dog daddy. Tell him that it's a dire situation. Tell your relative a cool youtuber is coming over.
I don't know his rates. But he will have those puppies behaving like angels.
Good luck.
A pit bull put twenty five stitches in my son's face.
I don't hate the breed.
And any dog is capable.
But they still make me extra nervous.
Professional dog trainer will fix that. My dog is gentle protective of me. He doesnt like men who smell like booze. I watched him stalk my friend he met before in my dining room like he was prey. Clanking his teeth at him. Guy came from the casino had a few but wasnt doing anything aggressive. If a real professional trainer w specific training in dogs bad behavior got involved would be a nonissue. Is it aggressive w everyone or just people outside the immediate household? Of course prayers being said. For the best for everyone involved.
Pitbulls or any dog in general are not evil… it is the owners who teach these dogs how to act and behave.
I have Pits.. super protective, loyal, and submissive. Blaming the dog is like blaming a gun for the irresponsible gun owner.
That's not completely true. Pit Bulls can be the sweetest dog you'll ever know for 7 years, then one day maul a toddler to death. A woman in NY had two pits for several years, no issues. One day after walking them, they mauled her to death as she was unlocking her apartment door. Unfortunately, a Pit Bull can never fully be trusted. Pit Bulls are less than 6% of dogs in the US but, account for 2/3 of fatal dog attacks.
I love Pit Bulls. They are sweet and fun, right up until the moment they aren't. I wouldn't have one, and people who insist they are just as safe as any other breed are ignoring the data.
That’s crap media nonsense. Sheppard and Rottweiler attacks happen more than pitbull but they don’t get reported.
There is something wrong with one of them… they refuse to see something is wrong with one of them… and I love my friends pit bull… that boy would give his life for me.
I know dogs well, I don’t believe the dog is evil… all behavior is learned.
In most cases, that is correct.
However, animals - like people - are subject to afflictions that can negatively impact their behavior. So, please don't dismiss the possiblility that the dog in question may have something mentally, physically or emotionally wrong with it that prompts its negative behavior.
I disagree I've had a lot of labs one pitbull. He started out normal but just went crazy. I don't want to blame the owners when some animals are not like the rest.
there is a reason reddit, facebook, the dodo, etc push pitbulls everywhere
Best Friends Society is cabal
Your dogs are good dogs but most pits are not
My Dogs are good because I am a good trainer. Most people are not, all dogs absorb their behavior from other dogs or humans. Again. Is like blaming a gun for a mass shooting, a pitbull is a gun on four legs that eats and drinks.. not everyone should have one… and if you have one training is a must. But is the same for all bully type breeds or dogs with strong bite force in general. A little dog can hurt a baby, and little dogs have hurt babies, but you don’t see people crying about chihuahua attacks on children.
