There's no doubt there are forces within Germany that cow-tow to the dictates of the climate change masters. The renewable energy sham is designed not to work, but to be used as a lynch pin disconnecting us all from proven energy. This is so a great societal reset is evoked that returns us all to the Dark Ages as serfs.

On June 2, 2023, I commented that the Poles have contempt for Germany and are conspiring with the British and other 'Anglo-sphere governments in sabotaging their energy needs for industry and are economically blackmailing them by cutting off NG and oil to run their factories. Germany is being forced to rely on Poland for their energy needs. The Polish government was involved in the Nord Stream sabotage and were gleeful that it harmed German industry and made them more dependent on Poland's imports of energy like the North Sea pipeline.

On February 18, 2023, I commented stating that "Poland is also complicit in the Nord Stream sabotage. A Norwegian Natural Gas pipeline to Poland, called the “Baltic Pipe” was coincidentally opened right after the Nord Stream sabotage. The Baltic Pipe between Norway and Poland has the capacity to replace the roughly 60% of Polish gas imports coming from Russia via the Yamal pipeline. At the end of 2019, the management o PGNiG (Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A., Engl: Polish Oil Mining and Gas Extraction S.A.) decided not to extend the Yamal contract that was due to expire at the end of 2022.

Poland also cut off the Yamal Belarus pipeline that went to Germany. This was due to Poland rejecting Russia's demand that payments for gas be made in Russian rubles. However IMHO, the British and Poles have made a secret deal to control the energy needs of Germany. The Druzhba oil pipeline, which supplies two refineries in Schwedt and Leuna in Germany seems to have had some suspicious shutdowns occurred in October, and November of 2022. The October shutdown was said to be a result of “leaks”. Only a month later, the Druzhba pipeline was again temporarily halted as a result of missile strikes on Ukraine. What country is responsible for this alleged missile strike? IMHO, it was Ukraine sending a message to Hungary. This would have affected Germany as well. In 2023, apparent classified U.S. intelligence documents released in the 2022–2023 Pentagon document leaks included a note of a conversation between the President of Ukraine and Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko in which Volodymyr Zelensky suggested blowing up the Druzhba oil pipeline to hit Hungarian industry, as Orban’s government was too friendly towards the Kremlin during the Russo-Ukrainian War. A Hungarian government official stated that this proposed sabotage by Zelensky prompted Hungary to block funding of the European Peace Facility. With this leaked document, it puts into question whether the temporary shutdowns of the Druzhba oil pipeline was due to maintenance and accidents.

The Poles have a deep-seated prejudice against the Germans..... And the Germans have recognized all the chicanery the Poles have been involved in affecting the German economy. If the Polish government decided to attack Belarus, Germany may strongly oppose Poland's aggression. IMHO, there's a lot more friction going on between Poland and Germany that is being reported.

As a result of a posting recognizing Poland being prepared as a military staging area and frontline of a much bigger war ..... just as Poland was used to foment war against Germany starting WWII, I said the following.

Earlier, on June 2, 2023, I also commented on this and stated Poland historically seems to get grandeur notions of recreating empires of the distant past and that inflated ego never ends well for them. Like Erdogan of Turkey with his dream of having a reborn Ottoman Caliphate, the Poles have visions of recreating their past empire in which western Ukraine and swatches of Belarus are once again part of Polish territory.
