I had niggles for a while, opted out of xmas years ago after reading "Pagan Christianity" (Barnes & Viola) I've never looked back: I experienced huge spiritual growth and blessings. Many think Jesus was born on 9/11, hence the choice of that date for the abominable evil that was done.
Everyone who has looked knows it has pagan roots. It’s not hard to find. There are mainstream pastors will talk about it openly on occasion.
From there, there are two camps:
those who say we’ve removed the paganism from the celebration and made it righteous
forgive my bias, which is going to be clear here, but those who acknowledge that we are commanded to not worship God as the pagans do
If you look up anything about Paganism, you will see that the first point has definitely not been done. More than that, how are we able to make things righteous? That’s not our jurisdiction.
It is also my personal opinion that it is a far bigger concern that we do not observe the biblical feasts, than it is that there is error in the observation of one we decided to observe.

to be honest patriot, all these holiday get togethers can be quiet annoying, being pushed to be with people that you don't really enjoy, all in the quest for togetherness and it ends up being a battle. maybe enjoy your alone time, get closer to the Lord and just breathe a little.

Martin Luther took seven (7) whole books out of the universal bible (and he wanted to take out more.) That in itself is very unsettling.

it is unbelievably warming to my heart to think the King of kings allows us to approach Him at any minute of any day.
