Soldiers in combat also tend to smoke more than the average person, which is very destructive to one's appearance.
Over the years I have met many Asians who smoke more than the average smoker.
Why do they not?

Soldiers today don’t like this aged. Not implying they don’t have stress they just have it inside where you can’t see it. I’m wondering if it’s from lack of food and nutrients. Soldiers way back then were not taken care of like today. Also could be exposure to toxins used in the war.
