Owens, 34, was an initial critic of Trump before backing him in 2016 and 2020. The influential talking head among conservatives said in November that she is endorsing Ramaswamy.
It blows my mind that anyone could be a supporter of Trump and then not a supporter. The other way around? Sure, all day every day.
Before Candice Owens took on a role as a pundit she was going to be a gamergate personality a la Anita Sarkeesian. At the time, her goal was to advocate and create a company and software that "ends anonymity on the internet," making everything you post trackable back to your real life name, in order to stop the evil bad sexist Gamergate video game players who were making fun of Zoe Quinn. Then suddenly and magically she became a "leading" MAGA voice, only to turn on Trump at the drop of a hat. In my opinion she's nothing but a social engineer and I would not be the least surprised if she were connected to some sort of intelligence agency.
I remember her software thing, she said she was being attacked for it, calling it anti-doxing? if so that does fill in some blanks. Plausible for sure. Her and VR are typical "forced compromise" characters, where you support them and then they are super-vocal about issues where you don't agree, forcing you to compromise or else reticent to support anything openly again, twice shy, jaded. So the op works, even when it fails.
I think that maybe initially they were like that, but then when Trump got in in '16 they did a major reallocation of resources. Owens, Alex Jones, and a whole host of other hangers-on did nothing but parrot Trump as hard as they could for a few years, all (I think) in the hopes of stealing some of the loyalty so that the movement weakened when they turned on him. Almost all of these e-celeb types do it, and it makes the less savvy MAGA supporters have doubts.
Serious question: Who appointed Candace Owens as a conservative influencer? I’m always skeptical of people who seemed to pop up out of nowhere and are immediately labeled as a conservative commentator by the news media.
Where I will give her credit is her ability to think long term. She is planting a stake in the 2028 election cycle with a plausible exit ramp for the 2024 election. When Ramaswamy drops out and endorses President Trump she will follow suit.
Who appointed her? The man behind the curtain of course.
Back about 2016 or so there was a young white woman who identified the anonymous Twitter account of James Comey. She got a little traction from that but Owens quickly stole her thunder on the topic. The original discoverer was confused about why few seemed interested in giving her more exposure but looked to Owens as the spox. I think "the man behind the curtain" promoted Owens, a young black woman, as a more palatable messenger to the legions of the Obama faithful. After a while people just become famous for being famous. It's all show business.
Vivek says shit that people wouldn't even hear if it came out of Trump's mouth. Now Candice gives him even more credibility with the middle ground that doesn't like Trump. My guess is that they'll bring more to the Trump side when they endorse him. Seems like it's planned to me.
I'm voting for Trump 100% but I also like Ramaswamy. I get his appeal. If she endorsed Haley or DeSantis or God forbid Chris Christie I'd be on the hate train but I can almost excuse this due to how much Vivek has been willing to defend Trump on the campaign trail.
The WEF is just a forum. The fact that we're able to talk about it openly means it's probably not as scary as we think it is. Same with the China stuff and Epstein honestly. Would the media be reporting about it if they really didn't want us to know?
As far as I can tell, Ramaswamy is doing good by making sure the America First torch will be carried on after Trump. He still defends Trump while proposing his own ideas. He hasn't attacked Trump in any significant way unlike the other candidates who are obviously RINOs. I definitely won't vote for Vivek over Trump but I think he's an asset to the conversation.
…what if Candace is actually helping 45? People who hate Trump, but love Candace (black pop), who are not for potato head, yet are still “anybodybuttrump”…
…are going to listen to what Candace and V. R-swamy have to say. R-swamy is (imo) a red pill factory for those whose ears/mind are closed to 45. Candace holds sway over a voting block that needs to grow bigger MAGA.
Bring the stragglers along, educate, then (close to election) endorse 45.
Yup.
It doesn't matter the Candice train ran out of steam a while ago

I gave up on her when she went all in on the GOPe endorsements.....
Now the derailed Candice train can get back on the track when it's time for her BIG ENDORSEMENT of Trump when her and Rammy are done playing around.
CIA puppets, don't mind them.

What about it? She is entitled to her own opinion. It's dogmatic to say otherwise.
I kinda feel betrayed by her but really, nothing surprises me anymore.

I can't get past his WEF ties

He's a billionaire....is he clean as Trump?
Maybe its a counter to Michelle Obama
Flip side thinking…

Dunno, but this could be a good thing.
Candace wants in on politics. Maybe she sees that hitching a ride with Ramawhateva is her ticket? And maybe she is right?
I'd love her as a Trump press girl.
She is as slippery as an eel. I can't keep up with her.
