ETFs are a scam. Only fools would be bullish on institutions like Blackrock controlling large sums of Bitcoin
Depends on configuration. ETF to be approved is "cash in / cash out" hence yes, scam
But the principles of finance apply in crypto, too, and DeFi is going to be the $#!+. I make $800 / week just on DeFi
I’m a crypto guy as well but stopped the LP’ing, farming, etc. now just do long term trades in the best smaller crypto. What/where you doing?
Problem in defi (in bear markets) is the gains are counted as income and not capital gains. In bulls that is ok but in bears problematic (for my jurisdiction).
They will never 'control bitcoin', they won't even ever remotely be the largest player in the space.
Adding etf to crypto will make it rigged just like the metals market. They can control the prices in it easier with fake buy and sell orders where they cancel them at the last minute after they made their money from moving the price up or down
To an extent. They can rig it but they cannot inflate the money supply
BTC ETF is inevitable. Today, tomorrow, a week from now, Doesnt really matter BTC will head up considerably on the news followed by a healthy correction.
