I mean the game itself is borderline unwatchable. Out of the 4 possible outcomes (detroit/ravens, detroit/chiefs, ravens/sf, sf/chiefs) they got the absolute worst one both for storytelling and general action. I've had a chat with a few of my football friends, and we're under the consensus that this could very well be one of those 10-3 or 13-10 kind of games and not the "30 points each team" one that we've been accustomed to seeing.
I think so too. My senses first perked up when I saw them making a sudden big deal out of the stupid celebrity romance between Mr. Pfizer and Miss Swift. Sudden big deals in the MSM always mean they are up to something. I knew in my cynical soul that at the very least they are trying to pump up interest in that game. I hope I'm wrong, too, but I'll come right out and say it: I think somebody is planning to do a terror.
If this is what they mean to do, I pray God throws a monkey wrench into their plans once again. I actually think He already has because I have no spiritual sense of urgency when I think about it.
