Require proof citizenship , then we are moving in the right direction
No more vote by mail and eliminate dominion.
I read that as "No more vote by mail and imminent domain" for some reason, but that's also true.
Agree.
I believe when Trump and the Republican Congress institute voter ID required, it will be Real ID required. Real ID requires proof of citizenship.
That doesnt move the needle at all. They will just guarantee citizenship to all illegals and give them the docs and let them vote. If the states all adopt that illegals cannot ever vote. Then yhis works.
True
They’re giving illegals driver’s licenses in some states, I believe. What proof that you’re a citizen can people produce in order to vote?
Those driver’s licenses should have some type of coded number or marking stating there was no proof of citizenship. Time to pass FEDERAL LAWS which states there will be no federal funding to any state that does not require proof of U.S. citizenship to vote or receive any federal or state funds. Why should taxpayers pay any funding or allow use of any funding that does not go to U.S.citizens? Many in the U.S. are homeless, especially our veterans; in need of health care; in need of a hand up. Citizens first! Also, time to do away with living off the government as a way of life. If you need a temporary hand up, fine. Welfare should and must not be a way of life. If able bodied, there will always be work for you. Pick up trash and litter, paint graffiti off subways and buildings, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, etc. Then and only then will you receive a hand up, not a hand out. Train people to work from home (medical coding/billing, phone answering for companies, wood working, sewing, etc.). Bring all those jobs back from foreign countries.
Frustrating that we lowly peasants can figure all this out easily but never the Uber educated people we supposedly vote for to go to Washington and fix it.
They don't want to fix it - hence, no solutions.
The Uber educated people in Washington being descriptable as “über" because they’re literally Nazis.
If you have a Real ID driver's license, or on mine it's "enhanced," it does show a flag of your citizenship, I believe. At least on mine, there's an American flag on it.
You got it. DL
Primary count in one go:
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/citizenship-evidence.html
There are other documents that "suggest" citizenship, but don't legally prove it - Global Entry, NEXUS, and Sentri cards, and an Enhanced Drivers License (issued by border states to be used as ID when crossing a land border).
Note that a Real ID drivers license does not prove or imply citizenship -- they are created to a certain standard to prove identity, and verify legal presence, but not citizenship. They are available to other people who are in the country legally - visa holders/green card permanent residents, or otherwise legal aliens.
As far back as I can recall, Ohio (and the county in which I live) has always required voter ID.
great. Nice to know.
I don't understand how Washington (state) is blue, saying that ID is requested, when it's all vote by mail. They also register you to vote automatically at the DMV.
Cheating. I lived there for many years. Vote by mail.
How can this be framed in a way to where it hits the idea receptors in an honest sleeping Democrat?
I’m thinking…
“If voter ID suppresses the vote, and Democrats are firmly in control of the voting systems in the gray states, what would be the concern from Democrats about voter suppression? Wouldn’t it be better to work with Republicans to address their concerns that non-Americans are voting? Shouldn’t the government inclusively represent all Americans?”
Did you hear what Merrick Garland was trying to say?
Not sure what you’re referring to.
He is trying to say that it is voter suppression to check ids.
Oh. Yeah what I mean is that we should take his framing, “accept” it, and create cognitive dissonance in his supporters to short circuit them toward realizing what’s being done.
“If ID suppresses minorities, why are you worried about it in states where you’re in charge, where the people calling for Voter ID are in the minority? Shouldn’t you want them to think you’re legitimately elected there? Just because it’s your party that’s elected, does that mean you shouldn’t inclusively represent the other constituents of the area?”
They’ll try and deflect and bring up abortion, likely, and how “conservatives don’t represent womens’ rights”, so would need to be ready for that.
You put it so beautifully. I agree.
It's a major gap for many in the west coast who have that cognitive dissonance. I have people who just couldn't believe I would vote for Trump because he is against women's right and against doing something for global warming.
Never seen more cognitive dissonance until I wake up myself. LOL
Whew what a relief thank God
Trump was really in trouble in those states, so glad they FINALLY got their democrat election fraud under control!!!
/s
It's still not perfect
We need 100%, and yes, citizenship proof. Not just a DL given away like candy to illegal immigrants.
Oregon used to allow you to only vote with your voter id and only where you live. No other places. they checked your name against their rosters. You are told where to vote and no other places.
That was when Oregon was very beautiful.
I don't accept "requested". Required, with verification.
Citizenship status needs to be verified.
Where I am now, you need photo id.
They have PA listed as no. I remember the first time I voted, they did check my id. They said it was required for the first vote. I guess those lawless democrats changed the rules.
I would feel more comfortable if they checked every time.
PA only second to NY in corruption as far as I am concerned. Maybe not true but NY, CA and PA right up there.
I agree. Even though we are the Keystone State. I feel like a lot of the corruption starts here, rather than ends.
I would like to see PA clean up.
Me as well. I really miss going down the city. Philly could be really beautiful. I won't go down there anymore.
No voter ID in most swing states… what a coincidence
Yes. Very.
WA?! They are gone
Gone a long time ago.
Yeah, good old PA a big fat NO.
Commie Shapiro for the steal.
PA is just like CO. Those twos are right behind CA, NY
You are correct on that comment.
Just an observation of a brain-dead.
Kek.
