We all thought Robin Williams was one of the happiest men in the world, then he took his own life.
Did we think that? I thought he was one of the FUNNIEST men in the world. I can't remember when I first learned he suffered from depression. After his death I subsequently learned he had a Parkinson's diagnosis.

These people shroud the truth for a living. If they're panicked they'll also be smiling like everything is chill. But it is odd for Obama to be traveling through Europe and visiting dignitaries while the royal family is in disarray.

Yup. I thought people like us were tasked to try and keep everyone together when shit went down, except it hasn't happened. So where is our credibility now? Up to 8 years of selling wolf tickets. Meanwhile, our leader is still talking public losses. They never amount to anything and often get reversed, but the headlines and the momentary emotional hit is all these regular people remember.
I know a 62 year old house appraiser who recently had to take on a second job stocking shelves at night. He doesn't like Biden much but is afraid that if Trump gets in he will never leave and become dictator. Maybe we can't fix stupid like that, its just amazing and demoralizing that we are STILL at this point in early 2024.
I'm just glad my circle is very small. Personally, I felt it was my responsibility to not necessarily tell people the ugly truth but to tell them that everything is going to be okay. I would have been wrong about that one, too.

This line of thinking that many on the left are spewing makes no sense to me? There were no dictator qualities that POTUS Trump showed when he was in the oval office for 4 years.
Many times just pointing out one or two of such points has them start to change their thinking in not accepting what they hear from the lying MSM.
Recently I had an old friend I hadn't seen in a long time come over and she truly thinks POTUS Trump is a "con man". Of course, I pointed out that he has nothing to gain by putting himself and his family though the aggravation and demeaning stages of holding office. He had a wonderful and comfortable life and didn't need to do this.
It didn't change her mind, but I could tell that she was thinking about the situation differently.
People say God is a con man too. People believe what THEY choose to believe.
I wasn't actually there when he said that, so no. According to a like-minded friend of mine who talks with him more, the guy did vote for Trump but also called him an idiot. Seems to have bought into the Jan 6 narrative.

Yes, it's hard dealing with them, but I have to because many are family members.
I know I'm having some effect on a couple of them because they've said they aren't voting for the Resident, but still not there yet to vote for POTUS Trump, but in a few months, they may be ready.

I uprooted and moved to another state during the Great Recession (family & all). It temporarily worked out for me, until the Deep State pulled the rug out from under us 2 months after signing on a new house 300 miles from the rest of family & friends. We struggled for a few years, finally had a chance to work the family & I back *home". Keep in mind, the DS is all over. What you may see as a red area or a blue area is still controlled by them.
That crap stops now. No more running for us, it's their turn to run. Roll up your sleeves, get to know your neighbors (especially if they're flying a an American and/or Trump flag out front), and get involved wherever you're able. Precinct Delegate, school board, Library board, whatever. Before you know it, you'll know who the local hacks are.

Become a precinct delegate (now is a good time to do the application), and get to know your local GOP & fellow PDs. You'll run across the rinos, but pay particular attention to the ones that just became delegates after 2020 and start meeting regularly. I've made 15+ good local people that way.

I sort of figure that: Look, either the good guys are in charge or not. Either the military is essentially running the show or it isn't. I think we will find out in November, give or take a possible few weeks of chaos afterwards. If it isn't clear that the good guys are in charge by December then I will assume they are not and we have been lied to ("We have it all", "You and your family are safe") and will have to re-evaluate a lot of things including my participation in this Earth experiment.
So, I feel you. I'd probably be a little shook by what you watched as well, because I do put stock into the "woo woo". BUT, to be fair, I've watched plenty of spiritual type videos that predicted this would all be over by 2020 or 2021 or 2022. If those were wrong, then this one could be as well.

That is a problem for sure. We saw all the trailers, leaked footage, script, are the ones who analyzed the participants and mapped out the entire plot.
Now the movie is out in theaters and the director and producers are wondering why their most die hard fans are saying "meh, is it over yet?"
The reality is that it has always been a show. Until recently it was only a show to pacify you and keep you asleep while you participate in the rat race. Now the show is to keep you moral high and mind informed as you wait out World War III or (World War IV depending on how you look at it).
