Some of you asked for an update:
She’s on day 13 in ICU and after they treated her for her complications she is doing much better today. They told us yesterday and the day before she was doing well but we didn’t see it as she wasn’t responding to commands and just laying there, not moving. But today she is alert and moving even the side that we thought was damaged and she would lose strength in, is moving.
I gotta tell ya, I don’t know if I would be saying all this if it weren’t for your prayers. There’s of course prayers from friends and family, but even strangers who have no skin in the game are so kindly praying for her. And for that I’m so grateful and thankful. I always pray for strangers too. But, reaching out to someone and offering kind words and prayers is so next level and I’m so moved by all of your generosity.
She’s still high risk. And I know anything could still happen, but I feel in my heart God has heard my cries coupled with all of your prayers and is healing her. I just met someone today who said his dad died right on the floor of his house from his burst aneurysm. The fact she even made it alive to the hospital and was life lined here is a feat and a miracle from God. Pray she recovers back to her normal state! This medical bill is probably going to financially break my parents, not to mention if they have to rebuild their house to accommodate any disability. But, I have faith God will provide. Thank you again for the support for Grandma Anon. She’s gonna get a kick out of that nickname when I tell her 🩷
You just brought tears of joy to my eyes. After telling you about my oldest sister, the bad news is her husband died on Saturday the16th. After 52 years of marriage/ they married young/ she will now have to learn to live without him. But it is such a joy to hear that your grandma is doing so well. She has a rough road ahead of her, but I have the faith to believe God spared her for a purpose that is not finished yet. God bless and keep us all updated if you can. Have a much blessed day.
Prayers being sent for your sister and your family.
Thank you. My sister and the rest of our family appreciate it.
🙏
Amen.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying for her and you all. ❤️ Yes indeed she has a rough road, the social worker gave us a rundown of what to expect and it’s going to take a long long time to heal.
Thank you. Yes, it will take her a while but with your love and care, she will conquer it all. She may not come out the way you and I would like, but just like my sister, she will still have that loving heart and that zest for simply being alive. I know my sister did. God saw to it that she got to see many grandchildren and a new great-grandchild. So she was blessed as well.
Thanks for the update. Praying, praying, praying.
I am praying for grandma anon and all those who love her!
Amen.
Someone in my church had something similar but sickle cell anemia related but they were in their 30s or 40s and were told they would be a vegetable for the rest of their life. We prayed in church while the family listened at the hospital and after the prayer she started responding. Then about a month later she was back at church and back on the worship team.
So happy to hear the good news. God is good. Praying for continued healing of your Grandma Anon - and looking forward to future updates.
ThanQ for the update. Prayers for grandma anon to heal up completely.
Oh my gosh!!! That is fantastic news!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!
Amen.
Thank you for the update and so very happy for her and you. FYI, they can apply for financial aid with the hospital if they feel the need to. Almost all hospitals offer financial aid to those on limited incomes.
🙏🙏
Hope Gramanon makes it.
Prayers on the way fren.
Great news. More prayers just went up.
God does work miracles. So glad to hear she is improving. Expect good days and then bad. Baby steps are part of the recovery.
