There are a lot of people my age who voted for Trump twice and will vote for him again, who understand to an extent how this country has fallen but still fall for the evil empire shit and support the war in Ukraine even as they denounce all other government led initiatives. These same people support Israel and are blind to the larger op taking place.
The indoctrination everyone underwent during the Cold War is very, very hard to undo, even now that the Soviet-era gang is long out of power in the Kremlin. I hope the coming Trump Administration will be able to break the programming and begin amicable relations with Russia.

Hamas committed unspeakable crimes of terror during a cease-fire. It is the last straw. Israel has no obligation to tolerate an openly genocidal and belligerent adversary on their own border. To say they must is simply taking the Hamas side of genocide against Israel and Israelis. To my view, Hamas against the Israelis is no different in principle than Ukraine against the Donbass Russians. Their ruling power must be destroyed for any hope of peace. At least Ukrainians have room to hide. Gazans have made their bed.
