I always wonder about this. Your statement is spot on. But the question for me is “for us”? You mean you and me, and those who are saved, by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Not”us” as in America. I don’t see that written down anywhere. America has turned its back on God. Did so awhile ago. I don’t expect any blessings for this nation. The people in it however..we can only hope. But, no worries, if you’re with God, you'll have victory no matter what happens. We can only pray for this nation to finally wake up. But personally I don’t see it happening. But there’s always hope.
This very scripture got us through a very hard time with our company. We had an infiltrator who tried to basically destroy the company and blame it on my husband. My mother-in-love gave us that scripture constantly to remind us to pray it. We gathered shareholders and planned our move and at the next shareholder meeting we led a revolt to fire the entire board of directors and install a new board. My husband retained his seat as Chairman of the Board. This was in February 2017. That Christmas at the white elephant party my husband opened a wooden cross with that scripture on it. Of course he gave it to his mother, and when she passed we put it on our bookshelf.

Crazy fact: in 2020 the population of adults in the US was 258.3 million. One third of that is 86.1 million. How many votes did Trump REALLY get? The "official" number is 74.2 million. 86.1 is probably more of a correct number.

No sauce, but I remember watching a documentary, and a retired general, was speaking to the interviewer, and said the reason why government hates armed citizens, so much, is because it would only take around 2 to 3,000,000 armed citizens to revolt in this country, and they would overthrow the entire establishment
