Shady/dodgy source, just thought I'd share the developing story. It popped up on my feed. I could see news like this causing a near term disruption in stocks.
Calling bullshit. We know a cyberattack has been in the works to bring down the stock market (that was gonna crash anyway, they just need an excuse). Nothing good will come out of this, expect tighter controls on how you spend your money, etc. Much like the Patriot Act was already written, whatever the response is when the shtf comes out of this, that bill is already written too. Bet
Oh well, if it got hacked, show's over, the jig's up, if it ends today it ends today, it was not meant to be... ::dusts off hands, gets ready to party::
We can live without the so-called "Federal Reserve". (Not federal, and no reserves.) We've done it for most of our nation's existence.
Eh, maybe it is just another cover story as to why our money access is going poof (same result as if kinetic war) and why they "need gov ran cb for your protection", who knows and IDK, Fed Reserve needs to be disappeared anyway at some point, they been nothing but a sellout pyramid scheme against the entire country. IMO.
I liked it much better when thieves had to break into brick and mortar buildings to steal information. Now, they can sit home in their underwear, or whatever, and go to the internet and get anything they want. Bring back paper, pen or pencil, and very soon. I know the internet is soooo convenient but I would rather have paper files everywhere, again.
I call BS. The 33 gives it way. Hegelian dialectics again.
I'll see your call, but continue hoping it is true and purposeful.
Assuming the "hackers" have high speed access (2.3 Gigabytes per second) to the Fed, it would take over 4 hours to download all that.
Nobody noticed that rate of transfer for over 4 hours? 🙄
I smell a rat. 🐀
The cameras and monitoring systems were mysteriously not working.
Could we not have a Kickstarter with public pledges? It would raise a lot of money, payable only if/when the guys stuff is released.

33
interesting number no?
https://www.redhotcyber.com/en/post/lockbit-3-0-claims-attack-on-federal-reserve-33-terabytes-of-sensitive-data-allegedly-compromised/
Grain of salt until its picked up by the bobble head newscasters.
Sounds more like comms than facts.
That hacker group is tied to Russia, they are probably pissed off from this weekends events and will release the data.
I hope it's true and I hope they release it all on twitter right now
That's idiotic.
Even it Lockbit somehow DID breach the U.S. Federal Reserve and obtained 33 TB of sensitive data... why announce it?
Says they were demanding money. Makes sense to me? If you dont announce it, you cant get paid off.
Cheapest bid raise , that they must call or raise again if they can.
Now they get to decide: Was LockBit helped & how widely have they distributed it ?
To get eyes on the issue before it's released and to make the bastards panic and make mistakes.

Outside audit?

Why threaten? Do it, or don't. Threats are what children do when they're pissed at mommy and daddy for taking away their favorite toy.
I smell a rat.
As far as I know its a way to get money. This isnt another 'zomg im gonna release the video blackmail!"
Its "hey I got cryptic login data and information and access to it, if you dont give me 75,000$ I am going to sell it in pieces on the dark web."
Make sense?
Dang it. Now everyone will know I only have $10.96 in my banking account. Such shame.
