All the towel head wearing migrants here in the midwest clearly don't. Every day more and more all I see is some guy wearing a turbin or Afghan in a burka driving a brand new Cadillac, Beamer or Range Rover like it ain't no thang
Everyone knows, the liberal/communists just lie for a living. I actually think the absurd difference in Trump's Low inflation, record low unemployment and record high economy, compared with the 'biden failure' is ALL Trump needs to mention in this absurd 'debate'.
As an engineer I'm shocked at the shoddy logic underpinning this measurement. Grocery items frequently go on sale buy one get one free and sometimes even more (Meijer sells Lays Stax for $2.59 regular price, but this week they're 3 for $5 and earlier this month they were $1 each if you bought 7 or more qualifying items). So he could repeat the same test next week and the week after and his totals would be bouncing all over because of sale prices.
Is there inflation? Absolutely, but it varies wildly based on the product and the timing of when you buy it. Based on his methodology I could claim 0% inflation because I bought Lays Stax on sale pre-Covid for the same $1 as I did earlier this month. or I could claim negative inflation because my parents had to replace a 32" TV I bought for them about a decade ago. They paid $99.99 at Best Buy for the replacement, a fraction of what I paid, and they got a better TV, with 1080p instead of 720p and they also got a built in Fire stick.
An an engineer I think that you, as an engineer, sound like you enjoy the odor of your own flatulence a little too much. There was no "shoddy logic." He didn't say he invented a new CPI or claim that there was "logic underpinning this measurement." He didn't even mention inflation.
It's just a guy saying that if he were to reorder his walmart order, it would be much more expensive now. It's notable. Relax, Poindexter. You sound vaccinated.
Unless everything he bought in the original order was on sale, and isn't now, I'm not too worried about it. This is but one anecdotal example, but it's probably a pretty fair representation of reality.
Nice to see a logical, rational argument countering this.
Yes, of course we've had bad inflation the past few years. But this is not any sort of reliable indicator of the rate of inflation. He could click that same button the week before Thanksgiving and get a total lower than the one from two years ago.
Thank you, and I can see from our ratios on this topic that people aren't interested in a rational discussion, they're fine with the irrational propaganda as long as it is in the political direction they want it to be.
As bad as this is, money is not the uniting factor. Only a declass of the crimes against children will unite everyone. If that delcass does not happen, we will remain a divided and volatile society even if Trump wins.
I agree... I guess I was not specific enough. "Everyone" are the supposed 94%, I think, if I understood Q. Regardless, we are so far away from 94% that it feels like nothing has changed except that it feels like our team is winning (I think). There is a laundry list of amazing things that have happened... but... the public doesn't know and/or doesn't care. The video on a different post of the young man working at the vape store losing his shit because a customer with a Maga hat was in the store... I mean, that worker went apeshit, and there are many, many, many of them who will get worse when Trump wins.
Wow, im fighting become acclimated to the new values. 30 bucks the other day for 3 sandwiches and two corn syrup beverages. 5 years ago I would have been bitching it was 12 bucks.
You forgot to factor shrinkflation into the maff. Like a 12 ounce can now has 11 ounces and the bag of Fritos is now being sold in same size bag but less ounces per bag. Factor that in and see how much Diaper-Joe has really hurt the average American.
So obviously there is bad inflation, but can I show you why that is a shit methodology?
Meijer foods:
Lays Stax regular price: $2.59
BUT, if you buy three right now they're 3 for $5 = $1.67
AND if you wait 4 more days they're 7 for $7 = $1
So, did we experience NEGATIVE 35.5% inflation because we buy three today? Will we experience negative 61% inflation Sunday because we bought 7? No, that's all simply how absurd pricing is in our economy where you can easily pay more than double by not buying on sale.
This is flawed logic when dealing in Walmart math. Walmart does not run sales, they run on everyday low prices. Those prices rarely move over 25 cents. Unless they are clearance items. Even clearance rarely goes for over half off, if it does it is put in pallets and sold to places like big lots or saver stores.
Joe says inflation's down, Bidenomics is working, we're saving the planet, gas is more affordable and we have the strongest economy in the world. So I'm just gonna pull the lever for Joe like my daddy and his daddy did. Then I'll fill out some mail in ballots for old folks and veterans to vote for him too. Cause I like to help people. Besides, Trump has mean tweets.
All of us who actually shop know this is accurate. No way inflation under Biden is a mere 20%. And this doesn't include the amount that most of those items have shrunk in size. BTW, I have noticed a very dramatic difference in the lines at popular fast food places like Five Guys and Chic Fil E not to mention cheaper ones like McDonalds.
My weekly shopping has more than doubled, even tho I'm buying less and less. The packages are smaller and the quality has gone down as well. I don't even get free bags anymore. Actually, I have to grab a cart out in the parking lot to bring in to shop since they don't seem to have anyone hired to bring the carts in from the lot.
This caught fire and people with Walmart accounts logging purchases have tried this out themselves...so much so that Walmart has caught onto it and has disabled the ability to "reorder". Instead, when the account holder tries to reorder, they are getting an "all items sold out" message.
Either way it's a win. People catch on and Walmart's online sales decrease because people are unable to reorder their product, and we get to see in real time actual inflation affecting our purchasing power.
People who are shit with money. Paying whatever the current price for something at the grocery is just a waste of money. You can easily save 1/3 - 1/2 by waiting until things are on sale. And a lot of things are fairly consistently on sale or at least predictably (the Sweet Baby Rays reliably goes on sale for 99 cents here around Memorial Day and July 4th, but some people won't buy a dozen and instead run out in March and pay $2.28 for it). Plus what happens if the sauce plant catches fire or has a recall (I'm noticing a lot of both events lately)? You're hooped, but I've still got sauce stocked.
Those same $4.48 Fritos dude re-bought are 2 for $6 at Meier this week on sale and Meier has an even worse regular price of $4.89.
There is absolutely big inflation, but based on how I shop that would never be an accurate gauge of what it is. Because I don't buy things that aren't on sale. So if I took my last order from two weeks and bought it this week it would show 50-250% inflation.
Last time I bought chicken buy one get one free and the Lays Stax were $1 last time and they're 3 for $5 today, but last week they were not on sale and were $2.59 regular price.
This is the 'small' inflation that the criminal MSM is trying to hide.
You have to be a Effin idiot to not realize the food costs are up. Unless you don’t have to pay for it.

It’s just transitory
is anyone here shocked?? im not

I've had the same experience. It's unfortunate.
And us people on SS get 3.2 % inflation raise !
As bad as this is, money is not the uniting factor. Only a declass of the crimes against children will unite everyone. If that delcass does not happen, we will remain a divided and volatile society even if Trump wins.
It won't unite everyone, because the deviants won't care, and I think you might be shocked at how many deviants there really are.

Musta bought eggs.

Walmart order from 2 years ago: Total Cost for 45+ items = $126.67
SAME ORDER FROM WALMART TODAY: Total Cost for 45+ items = $414.39
Oh goodie, some Maff.
414.39/126.67 = 3.27 so, a 327% increase.

Demonstrably untrue.

Kek!
Bidenomics at it's finest!
The next question is what is Walmart's profit margin, how much has it increased in 2 years?
This can't be true.
The official Fascist mouthpiece has assured us that costs across the board have gone down under the Sniffer in Chief.
All of us who actually shop know this is accurate. No way inflation under Biden is a mere 20%. And this doesn't include the amount that most of those items have shrunk in size. I hope he sends this vid to that frizzy hair whitehouse press girl.
My gold, silver and salary have NOT gone up that much!
That seems like more than 15%

I personally despise Walmart.
As a side note: there are an amazing amount of people who do this - reorder the same food items over and over.
I have always looked at those reorder item[s] buttons thinking, "who does that?"
Moms. Moms order virtually the same basic items and staples over and over and over…
People who are shit with money. Paying whatever the current price for something at the grocery is just a waste of money. You can easily save 1/3 - 1/2 by waiting until things are on sale. im blaming obama
White men are to blame for this.
White men, racism, and climate change.
Yep....that's it......
