Removing nearly 100 years of restrictive laws passed by congresses of the past seems like a pro freedom move to myself & many others who see that the system is not set up the way we were taught in school as children.

I am all for voluntary/charitable giving to help another out who is sincerely hurting & in need. I know I don't deserve many of the blessings & wealth God has seen fit to give me during my life, so I am glad to give when the spirit moves me to help others that are struggling. That said, I choose to do this & am not forced to do it.
Forcing others to be charitable, instead of reaching them why it is good & helping them also choose to do so, is absolutely evil. See Communism Massacres for evidence.
I think I get what you said, but in a Republic, the ONE thing that is ""Common"" amongst ALL MEN, literally All Men, is Law....
We Live by the Law, we Die by the Law, we either flourish and prosper by the Law, or we fail and Die by the Law.....
For us MEN, there are Codes of Conduct, they help us Navigate THE LAW, there are RULES of Conduct, they help us Stay within our ""Guidelines of Conduct"", that help us stay within our ""Codes of Honor"", but none of those are Laws....

A law is a rule that has gone through the legislative process to become a law that one can be fined or imprisoned for violating said law.
A regulation is a rule that is proposed and enacted completely outside Congressional authority. These regulations should never be allowed to have fines and jail time since they were never passed as actual laws.
Right, they are illegal laws. You can call it whatever you want, but essentially, it's a law because you can be held accountable if you break it.
Just because it has the effect of law still doesn't mean it is one.

I am more interested in the bureau of Land Management. I wonder how the housing market is going to go without the government sticking it's fingers in and strangling the supply. Maybe housing will come down to a price where an average person making $60,000 a year can actually afford a home.
Besides taxes and inflation, the thing that's strangling most of the people I know is the cost of that roof over their head. Why is housing so expensive? It's the government. You can't Park a goddamn camper in your own backyard on land that you own outright unless you pay the county a couple thousand dollars for the privilege of using your own land the way you see fit and promise to build under their bullshit regulations. I mean I get it I understand why housing laws are there, they keep The riff Raff out of some areas, I know how it can be in certain communities where they don't have these regulations and some tweaker will just buy a piece of land for like $7,000 and then use it as a meth lab or a chop shop, but there's a point where it's just ridiculous. Over in Bend Oregon it's like $100,000 as the application fee to apply to build anything on your own property.

BLM rarely goes under the Federal Space, especially since many of us have begun sharinf the method of Taking our Lands out of the Tax Racket and putting them back under Grants and Patents, where even the Feds need permission to step onto your land unless you're just too far for them to yell for you, but then there's always a Phone Line or an E-mail, or some Courier, like the Postman....

Find an Abstract Company, have them pull ALL of the Abstracts all the way back to the Original Land Patent or Land Grant....
Go and pull ALL the Tax Records for your Lands, bring them Current....
Work with the Bureau of Land Management in obtaining You Land Patent or Grant, for your specific piece of Land....
Go back to the Tax Records Offices for County and State, and have them Remove your Lands from their Records....
If they try to refuse, get the BLM directly involved....

There are some shenanigans going on with parks, too - some are to lock away resources, some are for real estate manipulation, etc.
I do hope they aren’t all lost, though. Being able to connect with the land is huge. Not sure what the best solution might be.
My thought has been that in situations where the government or people want something to happen, people are able to voluntarily sign on to it to support the funding. Blockchain would likely be a great platform to help enable this. It would be, effectively, a publicly chartered business, with sponsors. A lot of parks and government entities run partly off similar systems already.
They NEVER belonged to the States, they were, and always will be Federal Enclaves, in case Lands must once again be Sold to the People, and then they get Patented or Granted, in which case, they are Not State Lands, yet, within the Protections of that State, along with the Federation....

Liberty and tyranny have one thing in common: what is taken is deserved!
The problem with ALJ use is that it creates a judge, jury, and incentive against the individual all in one person. ALJs don't care about whats constitutional, they only care about their specific job. And, since everything is seen as "legal" until someone with millions of dollars can stand against the apparatus and go through multiple levels of fines and business losses just to get to a real court, its nothing but oppressive.
Can this decision affect proceedings brought about by unrestrained hostile HOA's?
