I know a little, definitely not an expert, but, according to some that I've known, most are just old WW2 vets that talk military stories. There are also many that just use it as a place to get out of the house and hang around with the guys. The average 3rd degree Master M@son that has never held a position of office within the lodge, would not be privy to any insider knowledge of the politics of the lodge. Suffice to say, it's reasonable to assume there is an inner more secret group (satanic?) that can stay hidden unbeknownst to most of the members.
