My take is that bad actors, globally and within our own government, use Gmail drafts to share very spicy information with one another. You write an email but don't send it... You let it stay in the drafts folder which means no digital trail or intercept ability. Now you provide the login information for this Gmail account with any evil friends you want to view your treasonous information.
