May God protect you during your stay and afterward. May He also help you parse the reasons why you are there at this point.
FWIW: independently of DEI policies, the supply of nurses is limited, because it's long been a part of the immigration strategy. Many US-born girls are denied entry into expensive nursing programs, while Jamaicans on the East Coast and Filipinos on the West can be admitted before even entering the country. I know a young lady in California who had to fight to get the nursing classes taught in English instead of Tagalog. Happens to doctors, too. Medical schools are part of the machine to import foreigners and place them in authority over the citizens.
I have visited two hospitals this calendar year in Florida and your experience is similar to yours.
Very few native Floridians or even Americans are working in healthcare. Mostly foreigners with accents like Vietnamese, Thai, western Africans, and a handful of Eastern Europeans.
On one hand the lack of diversity is obvious but on the other hand education systems outside of the US are better and superior than US public education.
I am not any medication and most people look at me as abnormal when they ask. Not on psych meds or any other meds.
I live in florida and am 55. I fear something serious going wrong with myself. I am on no medications besides advil and I workout like I have OCD. If something goes wrong I may just take a bun ch of sleeping pills with a bottle of whiskey and move on. I trust none of these hospitals and those who work there. They have god complexes. Read that, I would rather just end it then put myself in their hands. Very sad its come to this but I am not being dramatic, I mean it
I hear you! I have often thought the same but so far, I have managed to stay out of their clutches. I won't even drive a friend to the hospital because I distrust them so much.
But I have promised a good friend to consult with her before doing any escape scenarios. I think that's a good backup to have in place.
My pregnant wife went to a hospital to give birth back in 2021 and the PCP actually asked her what her pronouns were! Needless to say we found a new PCP after that.
Same in NC. I would never think about leaving a family member alone in one here. It's been that way since I moved here in the 90s tho. Maybe it's always been this bad. Had exact opposite in a little podunk hospital in Maine recently. Bet you can't guess what was different.
My father had an infection in his foot. If it weren't for us, he probably would've lost his foot or lost his life.
This was at the University of Michigan Hospital, one of the "top" in the nation.
They were taking his blood and using the trash can as the apparatus to put all of the tools to do so on top. I filmed all of it as proof.
I filmed the whole thing. I decided not to sue because the kid was young and obviously learning. But his infection spread after that event.
They are still trying to convince my elderly parents for the covid boosters. It is unreal.
Western medicine is beyond dead now.
In this Rockafeller healthcare disaster, you HAVE to do research and advocate for yourself/loved one.
If you don't, something very very bad will happen. Just like with the death protocol during covid. I trust myself more than these "doctors". The nurses are better than the doctors. But even then, with these DEI hires, I trust no one.
UofM saved my husbands life. He got a rare cancer two months after he contacted covid in Oct 2021. He spent 8 days in covid care and I spent 17 days in ICU in Jackson. Jeffs cancer appeared as a blood clot in Jan of 22 He is Vax free. We kinda wondered if it has to do with his not knowing to refuse remdesivier.
Jeff did 6 rounds of chemo in Jackson because we had to be at the hospital three days a week and we live about an hour away from A2 and are over 60. I literally saw the oncologist consult a flow chart. It was an awful experience. Jeff ended up with damage to his heart from the chemo. He was hospitalized every 1/2 point between the chemo weeks because they didn't notice that he was deficient in magnesium. I did! Once I couldn't get an ER/Floor Dr to coordinate with his vascular/cardiologist/chemo Dr's. He said he didn't need to. He even tried to say my husband was schizophrenic after a seizure. I reported him to the hospital board. I hoped he was reprimanded at the very least. We haven't been back.
The VA was even worse. Before Biden came in Jeff was treated like a king at the VA. Once Biden came in they literally tried to kill him. They stopped paying his copays and when he got to $1k, they garnished his Soc Sec when he got it the following November. They threatened him that he would have to leave the state for his bone marrow and told him he couldn't smoke pot or they would deny him his transplant. A cancer patient!!! As it was they delayed it for 4 months. They literally pulled all his teeth (they claimed they didn't want him to get an infection during the BMT). They threatened to not pay the bill at UofM despite jeffs multi faceted needs. They refused to give him dentures to this day. I had to fight them every step of the way and once his Medicare kicked in we refused to have anything to do with them. He spent 8 years in the navy. I won't forgive them.
He had a great team at UofM. The nurses were great, The Drs in vascular/cardiologist /BMT team and oncology all take the time to discuss his case. Even the people drawing blood are good. I never left his side for the entire transplant and go to each of his appointments and they never hesitate to take care of my needs too. The only negative was we couldn't request Vax free blood.
During this same time my Dad was going thru multiple hospitalizations in Eaton Rapids a small community hospital out side of Lansing and my mom in in a nursing home in Spring Arbor.
As much as I hate being involved in health care because I trust no one, I've had a lot of experience with it since the covid crap. I will defend the U.
Thanks for sharing, but I honestly can't say I'm surprised. I mean come on, these people we're dancing around during covid when they were killing countless victims.
They are retarded, racist, have God complexes, & brainwashed beyond belief. They literally feel if not for the " healthcare" industry the world would fall.
The good ones are in a very small percentage and they don't matter anyway and here's why. They are handcuffed. They cannot tell you the truth for fear of being fired. They can't speak against their " leadership " or protocols for fear of being fired. In some areas they cannot go out their own, because they wouldn't be able to obtain a " license ". Even if they were able to do that most ppl's insurance are also corrupt. They only cover docs " in their network ", which means in the cabal club. In their club means they use ONLY big pharma protocols with poison and kickbacks.
I am glad you were able to pull thru fren. Some advice for ppl since your life is their hands once u go in. Only go if u absolutely have to. Butter them up and make them feel like they are something special, it may give you the slight edge in them wanting to help you, instead of you calling them what they are, and having them secretly want to hurt you, because you hurt them w/ truth.
Sounds childish, because it is, but that's what they are. Immature, vindictive, and are protected.
After all of the ppl they murdered with remdesivir and vents they may be in 2nd now. They are a death cult. That white lab coat is 1 helluva a fkn disguise. It just disables ppls thought ability completely, because when you're sick or having issues ppl become desperate.
I think it's a mistake to expect the same demographics be seen inside the healthcare system as in the general population. "What the world really looks like" has little to do with what you'll find in heathcare workers.
For instance, Filipinos make up less than 1% of the US population, but count for around 5% of nurses in the US. And I'm not sure if you've never noticed that the vast majority of nurses are women. That is obviously not representative of our population.
I've noticed that in my area, one of the wealthiest in the country, that black women make up a large percentage of what we would call "drudge workers". These would be the nursing assistants, janitorial, cafeteria work, and especially those working in assisted living/retirement centers. I'm not sure if this is because no one else is willing to do that work, or because black women are less likely to have college degrees that are needed for better jobs. That's obviously a complicated situation to figure out.
As for the foreign doctors, that has much to do with how inaccessible college is in general in the US. It really became an issue during the Great Recession, and you might remember all the protests like Occupy Wall Street. Millennials in particular were protesting for affordable education. And it's only gotten worse since then. So having foreign doctors is going to be the standard in the US if college remains too expensive for US citizens.
I'd also like to point out how often Anons recommend that the younger generations not bother with higher education at all, that they should go into one of the trades instead. While I fully support more people going into the trades, I think this is one of those situations where we're shooting ourselves in the foot. This is why liberals outnumber us so much in occupations like medicine or education, etc....
The issues with staff being overwhelmed and tasks not being done is most likely due to a nation wide shortage of nurses and nursing assistants. Covid is mainly to thank for that. Nurses nearing retirement age just quit in droves rather than deal with all the Covid nonsense. Many younger nurses quit or took sabbaticals during covid at the same time fewer people went into nursing.
Seeing as how blood clots are one of the most common and dangerous things to happen to patients after surgery, it only makes sense for them to do what they can to prevent them. I'm really not sure why you seem critical about their efforts here....
I'm sorry that you had a rough go of it, but you came through it alive, without any severe problems. So I'd chalk this one up on the plus side, no matter what race or nationality the nurses and doctors were.
I'v ebeen meaning to create a separate post about this, but....
First off, I'm really sorry to hear of your health challenges. I hope and pray you recover. completely and quickly, fren. 🐸🙏🐸☦️☦️☦️
That said: look into a local independent concierge doctor! I was referred to one by my best friend a few years ago and absolutely completely love it. I get a FAR higher level of care because they actually know me and care about me, and doing business with them is like doing business with any other small business with excellent customer service.
No bureaucracy, no enormous hospital with a giant parking structure; no phone trees, no stupid BS red tape at all.
Just curious on how much you pay for concierge service. It's no where close to affordable where I live and was wondering if different areas of the country are much cheaper for that.
About $2k / year.
Includes basically unlimited care / visits; phone; in person; whatever I need.
Obviously does not include any blood tests or similar, prescriptions, etc.
Best damn money I've spent in a long time!
ETA:
Again, I look at the big picture;
Consider when working with a huge HMO / PPO / hospital like Kaiser, sutter, etc:
The friction & dread involved in even trying to make a dr. appt; it's endless bureaucracy, red tape; they are booked out months & months in advance;
When you actually GO to your doctor, they're usually at an enormous hospital with a paid parking lot; you pay to park & have to hike in like 2 miles. The walk doesn't bother me at all; it's the TIME wasted.
There's always a copay
You always end up waiting forever for the dr; either in the waiting room and/or again in the patient room.
By the time you add up ALL those fees & most importantly, MY TIME, I come out way ahead.
Plus; going to my dr. is almost FUN because it's so EASY!
The lymphedema machine that they put on your legs has to help you not get blood clots after a surgery. This is common practice. I’ve had several surgeries in America in the past several years and they always put that on my legs. in addition, monitoring your heart is another thing that’s common.
I recommend not getting into an argument with your surgeon, before surgery. my mom is 83 and she doesn’t take any medication either and most doctors and healthcare system. People think it’s weird too. I’m surprised they didn’t ask about vaccination. They were so worried about your medication list.
I’m happy you’re still alive. Get out of the hospital as soon as you can.
You got lucky. I had the jab police in my room twice. I enjoyed playing with their petty minds the first visit. The second time I told them to leave. Pathetic bunch of robots.
I'm now officially a "non-compliant" and proud of it.
May God protect you during your stay and afterward. May He also help you parse the reasons why you are there at this point.

Never go to the local hospital! Ask to be transferred to the private ones. If you did, and still got this.... omg! Hope you feel better.
