Our kids are making over 100k each including their spouses. They rent. They go out constantly. They take a lot of vacations. They have 0 savings earning 200k a year.

I had a life long friend who chose not to have kids… She was child free-long before it was a thing. She was a SAH housewife with nothing to do but read books lay around and occasionally exercise.
Now we’re in our 60’s, my children are productive members of society. My sons a fire chief, my daughter works for the airlines, my son contracts for an airbase… They are cool people!
All this child free couple have left is… well them!They quarrel, cursed each other, and have nothing to look forward to in their mature age.
I’d like to point out that during the time I was raising my kids I got two undergraduate degrees, my RN license… along with, campouts, music lessons, and band concerts. Sports activities, and other community engagements.
During those 30 years, she sat around reading books. She didn’t volunteer, she didn’t go to college, she did nothing. I guess we reap what we sow!
My aister was married twice and divorced twice. A career woman with no kids.
She lived a vicarious life after divorcing her childhood sweetheart who left her for another woman while the rest of my siblings and myself were raising our kids.
After her first divorce she lived a fast life hanging out with a guy who was friends to one of the Rockerfellers (I know, right!). She finally ditched him after he wasted a lot of her childbearing years.
She got married a second time when she was a lot older but this relationship also ended up in divorce. He wanted children and she was too old to give him any so she divorced him. She never told him how old she was! She never looked her age.
Fast forward to now... age 76 she lives alone on the West Coast away from all her siblings. She is now permanently on dialysis bc she never really was disciplined enough to control her blood sugars from diabetes. She has noone but a few friends and neighbors to help her out.
I have my own health issues or I would have gone out to see her and help her out a bit. So I have called her a lot instead.
My own child never married and is now 40. I worry about her as she ages and a lot of her cousins who are not married and do not have children to surround them and help out as they age.
There is a reason "they" wanted to kill the family unit. They will kill off these people when they get older and noone will be around to help them out. No family to intervene when they end up in a nursing home.
It's sad really that these young people revel in their childlessness. They dont know what they are missing.
