The government could probably run a bare bones set-up with those taxes right now, but it would never be enough for them-since they have become used to printing as much as they need/want.

Considering how much of the economy runs off the now uber bloated government. Thats not an easy thing to accomplish without being a major exporter.
In addition, the feds employ a lot of people, sad but true. Once the Fed gov is dismantled, where are they gonna find jobs in the private sector that lets them be slow workers, actively conspire to slow decision making, do DEI and EEO workshops every week, and fill out forms all day long?

That was a relatively good idea back then (tax the stuff that is bad for your health). Now, with all the crap food the US has pumped out, the government could get a ton of revenue following that (former) mindset…..I wonder why they changed course?
Basically what this is inferring is that the government was so small and it still worked! Let's go back to small governance and get them out of our daily lives!
