So, my original point was that there is/are some SS agents who are true to their loyalty and want to protect Trump, and so it would actually be a very good tip off.
No organization is a monolith, but how many bad actors in the SS around Trump does it take to let a guy get a ladder, set up said ladder, come back with a rifle, climb on a roof with said ladder, crawl around with a rifle, and open fire like it's skeet shooting season?

In the second case... just 1. It was an unscheduled golf outing, and that part of the course was accessible. It was probably easy to set up and hide. Because was not publicly scheduled, yet the guy was there for 12 hours, means that it was actually scheduled and it only took 1 bad ss agent to leak it.
