He needs private security, made up of and paid for by normal everyday citizens. I maybe wheelchair bound most of the time, but I can still hold a gun and have a keen eye for danger, and there are thousands who are just like me, ready to do their part. If President Trump needs more protection, all he has to do is say the word and we the people will be there.
Look up a guy named Keith Schiller and decide for yourself if he still has a role alongside Trump. Early on in Trumps first administration Mr. Schiller was one of Trumps chief advisors. A former NYPD officer with extreme loyalty towards Trump, he was run off by Mattis in late 2017. I highly doubt he went far though. In fact, I believe he is one of the non military on the Q team and have for the last 7 years.
