I took my disabled adult son to the doctor today and the reception asked me if he was ever in the military. She stated it was something they were now required to ask. What's going on? She stated one of her twin sons received a selective service card in the mail but the older twin did not. Are they bringing back the draft?

The requirement to register with the Selective Service has been in force for decades, it isnโt a sign they are bringing back the draft.
I donโt have a good guess on them asking about military service. Maybe they can file for some type of reimbursement for care provided to disabled veterans?
He's not a veteran. He's been disabled since the age of fifteen.
Did they ask about weed or other drug use? I'd say that would be the next question to try to show possession of a gun and drug use.
No. Just military service.
Possible they were trying to get you a discount if eligible and/or maybe a government kickback for themselves?
They might be tracking the cases of cancer caused by the trash pit burning in Afghanistan.
Or they will have access to an extremely detailed medical record.
Or they are tracking the vax, somehow, i.e. detailed records + vax tracking - seeing as the military was 'mandated'.
Last time I was at the dr. They started asking me about my preferred gender and sex, partner preferences, etc. I told the nurse to put down nunya - short for none of your business - she laughed and put me down as nunya. The military is another question I would answer that way.
Of course they want to bring back the draft.
They've succeeded in driving out most of the non-fags, non-trannies, and a great many of the otherwise non-mentally ill. Now that they've succeeded in driving out the real soldiers, and replacing the mid-to-upper enlisted and officer corps with mental defectives, you don't think they're going to risk their precious quota hires on actual combat do you?
Trannies aren't deployable since they require medical care/supervision so they need troops who can deploy. That's why trannies weren't allowed in the military even after it became OK to be as gay as you want to be - everyone needs to be deployable.
Another reason is a red flag law for military vets who might have a mental issue that could be reason for taking the weapon away.... For a bounty like they did with the jab.
You mean "taking the firearm away."
Firearm = used for defense of self, others, and country
Weapon = used for criminal assault purposes
These are the legal distinctions.
This is why they always call it an "assault weapon," rather than a "firearm."
While we're at it, can we address the whole clip thing?
I have VA medical so they already know. I refuse all shots, and stay strictly on course about medical stuff amd nothing personal ever. If they ask how thi gs are at home I just say my shoulder hurts (torn rotator) here in florida so far my care has been excellent so to the taxpayers i sincery thank you.
My guess is that they ask to see if they can refer costs for treatment to the Veterans Administration, to find if he is eligible, its all bureaucracy to see who will be covering his care.
My husband got a call a month or so ago. It appears that there is a class action lawsuit against the VA and the manufacturer of the fire fighting foam AFFF used by the military. It caused all sorts of health problems. Apparently, the military knew this and continued to use it fir over 50 years. Maybe it was related to that?
They just want to make sure you get the same level of care as the VA ...๐๐๐
Not a civilian Dr's business, I wouldn't answer those questions. If I want Dr to know of my military service, I'll tell them on my own. That's a really odd question from a Dr.
It is, but is likely coming from some government clown employee dictating it to the clinics and hospitals -- just like muh Covid shot.
Several years ago, I was asked by a nurse (before doctor came in) a series of questions, such as, "Do you own a firearm?"
I told her that was none of her business, and she agreed. But probably put that down on the form because "... well ... it's required!"
The doctors should refuse to ask. But the government goons should not be telling them to ask in the first place.
Draft the illegals that stole their way in across the border first.
Just another new field in your database record. Remember when they started asking if your home life is abusive or if you had a gun in the house?
That's what it seemed like. More information for the government.
Probably collecting info on the C19 jabs they forced their lab rat troops to get.
I think some of you are close. I believe they are trying to figure out how many people are likely to have firearms in their homes. Ex-military are very likely to have firearms. Probably more likely than currently serving military because they are not allowed on many (if not most) bases unless kept in an armory. It includes both dorms and base housing.
For a while, doctors would actually come right out and ask if there were any firearms in the home but people got PISSED at their prying and nosiness. This is probably another shot at that.
