FEMA does not own Blackhawks. There are a handful of surplus ones in civilian hands but the must display registration numbers as all aircraft do. And they are serving as firefight heli’s. This was MIL ops or hired guns. Big money spent to fly a blackhawk.
Yea I was gonna say, there is someone affiliated with Cleetus MacFarland who owns a BlackHawk, and they have been helping lift people to places according to a coworker this morning. I was gonna say this could be do to inexperience why they “dusted” the ground like that. But as you said, identifying numbers I would think be in play, but I’m not sure.
They're really trying to piss people off and it's working. It's just nice knowing that we all know better than to act out in a rash or violent manner.
This looks deliberate. Who TF are these people?
Deep State Whores
You spelled whores .... Correctly.
🙂
FEMA goons trying to intimidate civilian rescue operations
I see what they did there.
The question is, will you fall for it?
Hold the line until after the election {if it happens at all}
This is the fourth time this post has been removed today. Folks really need to start exercising discernment or they will be utterly lost in the coming weeks.
This pilot was not flying exceptionally low. It was clearly a survey of the area, no way was this an intentional act of malice. There is plenty to be upset about regarding the federal response to Helene, but this is a non-story and only distracts from the real ones.
Finally a voice of reason! This lot is emotional and sensational in their supposition of malicious intent...
I have an answer for this but I don't want to be banned. All it takes is two rednecks, a case of beer, one bang bang, and this typical saying..."Hey, Bob, hold my beer and watch this!"
It's gunna get to that point . This is deliberate. I don't think there's going to be an election. They are doing everything they can.
I'm pretty sure it's not "unmarked". The lighting conditions are awful, and faded black paint on the upper 1/4 surfaces of OD green paint simply makes it really hard to see distinguishing markings. It'll always say United States Army anyways, as outside of a few notable operators, the US gubmint are the only ones that operate them over US soil and the Army (which includes the National Guard and Reserves) only fly them in that color scheme.
It MIGHT be possible with some camera trickery to figure out the tail number on the tail pylon, but you're not really gonna get anywhere with it. The crew and their command already either knows about it, and they got peepee spanked for it, or they were told to do it anyway.
This is an A+ model (not likely cause most have been retired) or an L model (almost 100%) due to a few distinguishing features I can go into if the geeks really want to hear it. Point being, It's almost certainly an NC Guard bird.
While there's plenty of fuckery surrounding the Helene response, a few rolls of paper towels getting blown over by the rotor wash is not "deliberately destroying supplies.".
It blew over their tents, paperwork, etc. The pilot did that with a very steady hand.
Yeah, that tends to happen when attempt to land next to an unlashed lightweight supply area.
IMO This was either bait hoping someone would shoot at the chopper or it was a civilian bird who was determined to land and reversed decision.
... and awnings with metal pole supports, which basically become flying metal spears. Even if they don't jab someone it still hurts to get whacked with a flying metal bar.
.... and any documentation they might be keeping, including inventory lists, who needs what, what goes where, etc.
Also, since you've clearly never been around a helicopter: You get a LOT of crap in your eyes, even if you're wearing eye pro.
Tents, awnings, and other things are still supplies. They were destroyed.
Supplies were destroyed.
Now that is hilariously scoff worthy!
People are making a mountain out of a mole hill with this video. Metal poles were not flying like javelin! Stop making up things not in the video. There was a small dust up that blew a bunch of cardboard and paper around because the chopper obviously tried to land in the huge open area adjacent to the supply camp.
First of all, that should be "javelins" plural, with an s, foreigner.
Second of all, I said "Even if they don't jab someone it still hurts to get whacked with a flying metal bar.", which is an objective FACT.
Additionally, not seeing something happen in the video doesn't mean it didn't happen off screen, nor that it couldn't. The pilot showed either raw incompetence or malice in rotor washing the area after being told to not land.
...and awnings, tents, and other things, as well as loose debris (again, you've never been around anything other than a tunnel under New York City). *These were all in the video and yet you refuse to acknowledge these things.
Anyway, another $0.06 has been deposited to your account. Thank you for defending government malice and incompetence.
You're as bad as the left. Accusing me of being a tinyhat shill, putting words in mouths and out of context quotes to boot!
But keep on propagating that fear porn and fueling slide posts anon!
Stopped reading there. Opinion discarded.
Agree. It's not like FEMA could order the 101 airborne to do something like this. Flying low in the mountains is very dangerous The pilot is focused on looking for powerlines and such and trying to spot his landing zone. He was probably clueless to the effect of his downdraft.
