There are various problems with this storm's path because Nadine would have to be renamed as a Eastern Pacific storm once crossing Central America, if it survives since mountains exist in that region. Also, if the storm heads west, makes landfall in Central America, the next body of water in the Atlantic basin would be the Gulf of Mexico. Finally, the Bahamas is northeast of the Florida Keys and would be protected by that landmass called Florida until landfall in the Florida Keys. The Bahamas would be affected as Nadine went out to sea.
