Thanks. You have your reasons so I will eat some for you. I have turkey for Thanksgiving and Ham for Christmas. We usually buy them together to insure we have them ready. I have 2 deep freezers.
Great idea. My large family picks a family in need every year to “do” Christmas for. It has been so much better than any gift exchange we have done in the past.
Very nice! We look for the after-holiday specials (sometimes you can get hams or turkeys for a few dollars), and then we go to the families that are tight nearby and surprise them. They don't mind that it's just after the holiday.
I know what you mean. When I used to work, both factories I worked at used to give us a Ham at Christmas. They came in handy. God bless you and may this holiday season be the best ever for everyone.
Lucky dogs. Our dog Izzy who is 17 years old usually waits for one of the grandkids to drop something or slip her something under the table. Then she knows when I'm cleaning up that she will get the scraps. She hasn't been herself lately and lays around more than usual. If the good Lord is willing she will make it for another holiday or two. We tried to give her a good life and she's been a happy dog. I hate to see her go but I expect it any day.
It is so good to hear others who have older dogs. Ours will be 17 in February. We only took Izzy to the vet a couple of times. Once for something gastro and the other to be weighed for a special flea pill. We deworm her ourselves and she doesn't go outside rootin and tootin like she once did so we don't give her any more rabies shots. My husband buys her as close to the best pet food we can afford and she is spoiled to our table food. Last night I made us a nice salad for Dinner as we are both on a diet, topped with fried chunks of chicken breast. And she sat there and begged until we gave her a few chunks each of ours. It will kill us when she passes as she basically grew old with us. Just like one of our kids. God bless you and your dogs. In our old age they are one of our family that keep us company and warn us when anyone approaches. I thank God for all our pets.
I buy the picnic hams for my holiday baking. This way I can take the broth drippings, the bone and any fat and cool it and freeze it in bowls. Then when I'm ready to make a pot of beans, I thaw out the bowl of broth, throw in the bone, skim the fat off the broth (not good for your arteries) add my beans, some diced onion and cook. Sometimes I let them get 3/4 done and add some diced potatoes. No need for salt as the broth is salty enough. HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
WOW -WOW —nothing says Movie like some of the biggest chains admitting that prices were lower under President Trump BEFORE the election!!! Damn he needs to run this as an ad. You’d think this was the Bee!
Thanks. Was wondering how we were going to put that Turkey and Ham in our budget this year.
I am a vegetarian so I can't eat. You eat some for me and remember me. LOL
I am carnivore. Please eat my green bean casserole. I will eat your meat.
Yikes! That sounded kinda Barack-ish.
You do that. I will eat the yam and the green bean casserole for you.
Who is going to toss the other’s salad here? Asking for a friend.
Name checks out. (Kek / jk)
LOL
More importantly, who's doing the stuffing?
This was definitely a good laugh. I was typing fun filled laugh but then I'd be in the mix for stuffing and filling. Kek

We do the same. My work gives us a ham for Christmas. I will appreciate it more than ever this year.
they give us one here too but last year i stopped and gave mine to a homeless lady with 3 kids..I think they needed it more than i did.....

How do they cook it?
the ones we get are pre cooked you just need to heat it up

💖💕 It feels different. It feels more authentic this year.
Yes it does. Enjoy and don't forget to say MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY TURKEY DAY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR, right in their faces.
Good for you. I usually buy them and chop them up for the pups.

I have a 18 years old dog. He is still so strange.
Izzy loves her turkey.
Good. Buy some and chop them into pieces and feed her.
I have dogs that live well into their teens.
Lost one at 17.5 a couple years ago and our next oldest is 16.5 now.
No vaccines save for rabies as we are in the woods a lot and get nail trimming down. Once senior years arrive even that one stops.

I am vegetarian too, fren
Oh thanks fren. I am glad there's at least 2 of us. LOL
Did vegan make you Brain Dead?
Kek Fren.
LOL. Definitely not.
Especially a juicy and sweet honey baked ham.

I thought it was a hoax also b4, maybe Trump is backing them to show this. It would be great to compare.
So they had the power to reduce prices the entire time but only now for muh thanksgiving.
I am sure they are taking a hit for this. You cannot be that cheap and still make money. Somebody is booting the bills.
When did this deal start?
Because if it starts before the election these mfers are trying to sway it.
Now until Dec 24.

Mother fuckers. They're trying to memory-hole people into thinking Biden did this shit. So that the idiots vote for Kumala.
If they are literally saying it's "Trump-era prices" they can't claim Biden did it
Did Walmart say that or was that a headline by Gateway?
Of course.
It just proves that corporations can raise and lower prices whenever they feel like it, regardless of the times or who is in office.
Taking a hit I am sure. Walmart might be able to but Aldi, taking a hit.
It's a tarp. Gotta be.
tarp? What do you mean?
Probably an internet meme "It's a trap!" turned into "It's a tarp!"
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/its-a-trap scroll down some for the tarp section.
LOL. I see.
This
Oh right.
Dude why can't I have this here lol
You don't have either?
OK my bad I only saw the Aldi. I'm unfathomably tired, my apologies =)
Walmart Bagged Salad Mixes: Trump: .99 - $1.25 Now: $2.19 - $3..25
Incredible.
