All actions of the Department of Government Efficiency will be posted online for maximum transparency. Anytime the public thinks we are cutting something important or not cutting something wasteful, just let us know! We will also have a leaderboard for most insanely dumb spending of your tax dollars

The leaderboard idea is probably straight out from him playing Diablo LOLOL. Knowing how wasteful governments are I don't think I'll get tired of reading it. This is going to be lit!
In another thread u/Sadness and I talked about a new paradigm called New Public Service. This is another one of those that brings a flattening effect on power structures, where people from all walks of life have a say on what to cut and what not to cut.
Can you link that thread, sounds interesting.

In 2019 I was diagnosed with cancer. The thought of dying before seeing the Q plan come to fruition was almost as bad as the thought of leaving my loved ones to cope without me.
I prayed on this; and thankfully God gave me these subsequent years. It’s looking to be better than I could have ever hoped for!
Thank you God and ThanQ!
Yikes! Hope all is fine now.
Glad your still here with us, keep fighting brother!
Thank you!
Rand Paul makes a list of stupid government waste every year. Ask him for his lists . They all sound insane , but they're real .

Really starting to love this guy. We really need this type of government financial transparency here in Australia.
Its hard to believe this is actually happening, and to think we've only just begun. Golden era awaits ...
this timeline fuckin delivers.
I love Elon Humor. This whole age has been both terrifying AND HILARIOUS 😂😂
Like treadmills for shrimp?
YUP
How about the study on rat's sex life when addicted to cocaine?
Thank you! Who needs entertainment when we have Elon cleaning up our wasteful spending? I am loving this!
We can start with HE appliances. We need appliances that use enough power to do the job! I haven’t had a good appliance in 25 years. (We’ve been thru 4 dishwashers, 3 stoves, and 3 washing machines and they all need to be replaced already)
If appliances and other things were made to last to begin with think of the resources and energy that could be saved. That's why it's hard to take the global warming narrative seriously.
Very true. I don’t mind fixing things. But when it falls apart and never worked well to begin with I have to replace it. I remember using consumer reports until they got paid to promote bad products.
Same.
Most of these can be fixed rather easily. In 15 years I’ve fixed my refrigerator, dishwasher(x2), washing machine(x3), dryer(x10 seriously), microwave. I eventually replaced the dryer. And I just replaced the microwave two weeks ago. But in total, I’ve spent around $100-$125 fixing all these over 15 yrs. Many people have the same problems and so it’s easy to find the fix on YouTube and such, and many other times it just required a break down and cleaning, reassemble. But buying a new one only delays the inevitable, imo. Just my 10 cents.
Oh trust me, we’ve been shlepping a lot of appliances along. Replacing parts, duct tape, bale twine etc. but the fact of the matter is the dishwasher and washing machine have not resulted in clean clothes or dishes because they do not have enough electricity- From the day I purchased them. You are essentially concurring that the HE machines suck. What exactly are defending? You think I have extra cash to buy new appliances? I certainly don’t want to because the new ones suck worse than the ones I have and those are on their last legs. And you reminded me that I didn’t include my refrigerator. The plastic shelves on the door crack about once a month- I keep spares on hand. The lining inside is cracking. These appliances are not made to last they are designed to be disposable. Eventually you can’t fix them and when they weren’t great from day 1 I’m not as motivated to keep fixing it. Plus, why do that to the wife? Why would you keep fixing something that makes her miserable? So again, I want an appliance that doesn’t conform to arbitrary EPA standards by unelected bureaucrats.
No I agree with you. I honestly don’t know how people get along nowadays without fixing their appliances. The baler wire was a LoL. Used the same thing to fix my refrigerator. The heater wire broke. It’s like a condensation area that uses a basic wire, that’s hangs off another”hot wire” to heat like a few degrees so that it doesn’t freeze the whole inside. The repair man and cost would be ridiculous. A YouTube video, 2 hours later, and a 6 inch baler wire, fixed. But yea I agree, stuff isn’t made like it used to be. I mean I have found some brands that use metal parts still. Like Speed Queen’s washing machine. Built old style but cost like $1200 for a top loader. I’ve decided I buy the cheapest cost models now, and just fix them. Which seem to be Whirlpool brand.
Awesome Elon!
One thing they need to put an end to is the end-of-year spending by government agencies. If their annual budget is not spent, they find ways to spend it, and they even make sure they spend one or two percent more, to justify requesting more for the next year! I worked for the Federal government for almost 30 years and it was so disgusting that every year they would buy new computers and other things, for this reason. Government agencies are not judged on how much they save, but how much they spend! If all taxpayers were aware of just this one thing, they would be outraged! Another ridiculous thing is that they STILL use a private travel agency to arrange airline tickets and lodging for employee's government travel. I actually put in a suggestion about 15 years ago to end this, and it was shot down by someone fairly high up, who stated that current Federal law does not allow employees to arrange their own travel! You can't make this kind of ridiculousness up!
This is 💯% the reason why spending is so bad. I worked as a government contractor in several departments and saw how they rush to "spend money" at the end of the year to justify their budgets for the following year. It's sick! Government should function like a business, or better yet like a non-profit where they need to fundraise for support. If they don't keep to what the people want, they don't get money! Government FOR the people, BY the people!
I want interviews with employees to be live streamed.
This is going to be good.
Day light savings go away, half a billion for NPR/ public media go away, funding colleges go away, torturing animals for science go away, IRS go away, ect
Defund planned parenthood End the Fed Dismantle the Alphabet soup agencies including but not limited to: DoE, CDC, NAIAD,, FBI, CIA, IRS. Etc. Get rid of all extraneous "personnel"
Every whiny soy-based liberal will cry that every single thing they cut was vitally important to (a) our democraceh, (b) women's reproductive rights, meaning the right to kill babies at will, or (c) non-whites, the only valuable people on earth.
Provide a link to the post on X, especially if all you are doing is reposting it on GAW. No updoot for you.

Yes, link please!
Sorry, I will post the X link next time! :)
Loving the transparency!
I love it. We gonna get to see how they launder the money---we are talking hundreds of billions of dollars.
Trillions!
There may be what amounts to laundering in the Defense department, but most of the government waste is just due to an excess of employees and over-spending (and it is the government contractors who profit from the excess spending). One thing that will happen as a result of cutting way back on government spending will be a cut back in the companies that are largely funded by government contracts. The combination of cuts in Federal employee numbers, and reduction in spending on Federal contracts WILL result in extremely high unemployment.
I also call it treason when a Congressman pushes legislation towards a company like ATT to had out free phones to people and the government picking up the tab ALL because these Congressmen get "donations" to their re-election funds.
There is so much corruption going on in DC, it's going to take quite a while to purge it. The legal insider stock trading they do is despicable.
This is a form of corruption to me. Insider trading by people making policies is a clear conflict of interest. EO 13818 should cover this!
I trust this department will be positioned AHEAD of the stupid spending, so as to prevent it, not just report it.......
William proxmeyer joins the conversation.
This is the one government department that should be commission based. Incentivize the workers to slash spending by getting a one-time 1% commission for any programs eliminated.
The Federal government has an official "suggestion" program, where they award the suggester up to $10,000 if adopted. The only ones they ever adopt are safety related. They don't seem to ever adopt any suggestions that would significantly change the way they operate. The main problem is that the people who would be affected by a suggestion, are the people who review whether a suggestion is worthwhile. For a suggestion program to work, an independent panel would need to review them.
