There's photos/videos of Elon [almost] everyday now at Mar-A-Lago, he's been working closely with Trump and he likes to live where he works whether it be an office or a factory. Must be nice for a change to live in a beautiful place surrounded with friends and now family.
At this point it feels like Trump has straight up adopted Elon in all but name.

Respectfully, I doubt that. Cryptocurrency was a several years long project, in fact, before Bitcoin white paper came out, there was something by someone named Adam Back called "hash cash." It was a decades-long project pretty much only in the domain of mathematicians and cryptography nerds.

If you are saying I was down tooted because of thee rest of thee thread then that doesn't make sense, the rest of thee thread didn't exist. Note, my first comment is 10hrs old at the time I am writing this. I was like the 3rd comment.
I think it is shallow to equivocate the 2 because of money...or even influence. Neither money nor influence mean anything without the intention behind the use of them a tools.
Lets say your have a terrorist org that has 3 nukes and they want to make all of Europe muslim and wield their nukes and leverage to threaten England, for example. And then, lets say you have another country with nukes that doesn't want either/any country to change and views their weapons as deterrents rather than threats.
THAT is why Musk is not the same as Soros despite the "narrow" comparison of thee resources they have. ( again, narrow comment was after mine and it wasn't a response to mine. Never saw it or I would have said all this reasoning).

Maybe to make it a little more clear think of it as good vs evil. Soros is the leader of the evil side and Musk is the leader of the good side. That statement can be knit picked, I'm aware, it's just a simplified idea.
