Far from progressive, these Soros-backed DAs did more to hurt progressives than anything the Right has managed; to everyday Americans, the term "progressive" now conjures up images of fentanyl overdoses, crime, defecation in the streets, and riots.
President Trump is creating the most amazing unlikely coalition team for MAGA. Soros only hires the best, and Trump knows how he stood up to Soros, when Soros wanted him to do something he didn't agree with and threaten to resign. Trust President Trump and Elon, they want the best team to MAGA!
"Know your enemy." It's a power play. Most of what Musk will be counteracting in the DOGE was installed there by George Soros, who has passed his ideology & agenda onto son Alex. Musk wants to "understand his goals" so he can counteract them better in the DOGE.
But that goes both ways -- so I imagine this meeting will be more like a chess game. Both sides checking out the other. Both will be looking for strategic ways to get past defenses.
Elon is reputed to be a genius. What exactly is known of Alex Soros?
Just look at his father, and you'll know all you need to know about Alex. Out of his four children, George handed the reigns to his empire over to his youngest son Alex. Obviously, he thought Alex best adopted his ideology.
Alex Soros doesn't strike me as in the same league as Elon. Soros got his daddy's money. Elon made it on his own. Soros does as daddy says. Elon thinks for himself. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at that meeting.
This gives more information as to who and what Elon will be dealing with at that meeting. If I was an advisor to Musk (LOL! As if he would listen to a housewife!) I'd tell him to make sure wherever this "meeting" takes place is on his own turf. If he can't arrange that -- make it on "neutral territory" chosen at the last possible moment.
He should definitely not go alone. He should take some bodyguards. He should have the conference room throughly checked before he sets foot in it. He shouldn't eat or drink anything he doesn't bring with himself.
What you've said above gives a pretty clear picture of what he will be facing. I don't think Elon should treat this as just a "normal business meeting". Given the information you've just provided -- I don't think this fellow is what I'd term a "normal businessman" and extra precautions are in order.
I'm surprised that kid is still alive. The amount of drugs he alllegedly abused at places like Burning Man and Coachella were reportedly causing shortages of supply among the peasants attending.
That's actually useful information. He was what you'd call a "troubled youth" then? It's my understanding that drug usage is common among the super wealthy, but if his exceeded the amount usually taken by those of his class the assumption can be made he had "issues".
I wonder how he got along with "daddy". Was he subject to "expectations" he felt he couldn't measure up to? Or that went against whatever personal interests or aspirations he may have had?
Is Alex a "chip off the old block" or something else altogether? We'll never know of course -- but dollars to donuts there's a file on this dude somewhere. Anyone who is set to inherit that much cash will have influence someday and somebody, somewhere kept tabs on him.
Why can't he meet with him? I mean, he might as well see what Alex has to say, and establish a relationship. Just because someone is seen as an "enemy" doesn't mean they shouldn't be dealt with and left to do what they do. They can talk. That doesn't mean Elon is going over to his side, it doesn't mean Alex is going to Elon's side. It just means they should talk and establish a relationship. I don't see this as all bad.
The 39-year-old Soros replied: “I often learn most from people whose views are different than my own. Open to meeting.”
You ever feel like you are watching a movie and you know better what's going on than all the characters in the movie?
I think every Anon on earth feels like that...

HUGE tinfoil hat WHAT IF...
Alex was never planning on taking over his dad's evil throne, but to end it instead.
Remember when Alex Soros tweeted out that image of a bullet hole and the playing cards adding up to 47, implying to "shoot 47"?
Pepperidge Farm remembers
WHs probably put them in their place. Where are all the antifa riots after Trump won. No pay check = no riots
This is directly from.... Newsweek.

Yeah that would require more tinfoil than is on earth.
No deals should be had with any soros. There is nothing to understand other than what size rope to use.

Nah, don’t forget the Alex Soros tweet from January with the bullet hole in the glass and the money.

I agree!
FKNG SAU...nvm :p https://fortune.com/2024/11/20/elon-musk-alex-george-soros-meeting/
Alex better be flipping on everything cabal or his ass is grass!
Soros should be disappropriated. Confiscate everything he and his family owns.
Elon to soros. Change or be eliminated.
Boss move actually. Come spew your commie bullshit to my face.
Innovation versus destruction.

I think this was a troll by Elon.
