Every single person who resigns needs to be fully investigated, and if necessary also charged and prosecuted to the fullest possible extent of the law.
I view these resignations as admissions of guilt. Now we just need to find out what each of them is guilty of.
Anyone have an idea why its taken Trump so long to name an FBI director? He seemed to have filled the majority of his cabinet quickly, yet he hasn't been in a rush to get this job filled. Just wondering.
He’s made several other announcements tonight about people that would be working in conjunction with Kash, so I’m going to assume he was waiting for their background checks before he would make the announcement for all three departments. One of them is a sheriff, and I can’t remember his name though, I think it’s for the DEA. I’ll have to go look. But that’s my assumption.
My supposition is that President Trump knew that Kash's announcement would rock DC. The longer he waited, the more the anticipation built and the less time Kash would have to endure the chaos that is sure to ensue. Suicide weekend, anyone?
Because Wray is the FBI director and could stay until 2027, so the position is technically not open. Trump will fire him or Wray will quit, and then he can actually appoint Kash.
Also - FBI director is not a cabinet position - serves under the AG.
From the White House site:
The Cabinet includes the Vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments — the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs, as well as the Attorney General.
There will be over 1,000 positions that require Senate confirmation - including the Cabinet positions, people like judges and US Attorneys, Ambassadors, etc.
I will tell you a little tale about the Australia pilots strike. They could not get want they wanted so they all resigned on mass. The were not very well advised and the act of resignation meant that all their superannuation/pension benefits were forefieted. Lets hope these FBI agents have similar advise.
They will not get redundancy packages but it could effect a lot more. Its one way to clean out the trash fast. I suspect a lot of former FBI agents may look to come back. That said I think it needs to be disbanded and reformed from day one it has been rooted in corruption as Hoover used dirt files to blackmail people.
I believe if they had the time to be able to draw a pension, they will get it-whether in jail or out. That is my belief. Better to have the ones that committed crimes be charged, tried, and sentenced to the full extent of the law. For some that might be hanging or a firing squad, for others life in prison (we will be paying for the pensions they "earned" if so).
I imagine a law could be passed that would exclude prison sentences from collecting pensions, but then...

Good bye and good riddance. u/#byebye
Resigning doesn't mean being held accountable. Having to find a new job is a minor inconvenience, not a punishment for abuses caused.
Resigning wont save them from what is coming.
I admire your optimism.

If it looks like shit, and smells like shit....
No need to insult any ducks.....
Agree. And also the ones who don't resign.
Resignations are nice but I want arrests. Eye for an eye

I actually expected him to wait longer for that very reason.
Same here.
An opportunity to watch where the rats run to.

He's torturing the deep state.
I contemplated that issue as well.
They may resign through a window. I don't want to sound cruel but the damage they did to the country and the people beyond the description
Be sure and take out the Vindmans along with the FIB and all fibbers.
Are we supposed to weep and wring our hands? Yes, I am rejoicing. He better disclose all the first week. I can’t wait to see heads roll!
No, our role is to rejoice.
Before leaving, I wonder how many are wearing out those paper shreders?
"We have it all."
Mass resignations = WINNING!!!! Why do they want to "pwn" themselves?
They’ve had a lot of time to get rid of loads of evidence.
Yay... we should put a paddy wagon in front of the door for them to step right in
I like this idea.
Probably going to take a few buses to haul off that bunch of crooks
Okay, so...is there any bad news?
THEY CAN RUN BUT THEY CAN'T HIDE
They can run but they cannot hide.

He has to get confirmed watch the RINO's block him.
Just remind them deleting files is a criminal offence.

Huh. I wonder what happens to FIB agents in GENPOP?
Agree, just let them resign, most will never work again.
