They found it the first time fallen over on its face, the second time they found it fallen over and the head had broken off, aka beheaded. Very strong parallels and I'm down for it. You forgot o mention the most compelling aspect of this historical account. The Arc of the Covenant was stolen and place under lock & key in the same room as this statue. God was clearly showing His wrath of being mocked.
