Back then, everyone thought he just had a messed up sense of humor. Now I'm disturbed to realize it likely wasn't a joke. He also said things like "I love babies... with bbq sauce". His partner was very wealthy, had many even more wealthy clients at his NYC business, and now I'm thinking that wasn't a joke either. Disturbing just to think about.
