It's going to be hard for RFK to ban sucralose if Trump is installing a Diet Coke button in his office

Coke could make a stevia, monk fruit or zylitol birch sweetener version of coke and be wildly supported. I hope they are wise enough to do it.
Or even real organic sugar. Corn syrup messes up the body as it doesn't really know how to process it which is what we have in regular coke.
Mexican Coke still uses real organic sugar. It’s available at my local Von’s. About the only benefit to living in a sanctuary state. Pfft!
I bet you have another kind of Mexican coke in your sanctuaries as well. 😏
Yes but most likely not at the local Von’s.
Lol
They have it at WinCo too. It usually flies off the shelf.
Real cane sugar gives Coke wings!
Oh it's extremely delicious alright. I got some in the fridge right now hidden from view. Out of sight, out of mind.
I don't know how to tell you this, but, although it may be out of sight...
It is still clearly on your mind! Lol
Only because you brought it up! 😁
Jarritos!!
It's a mild geno toxin, but so are so many other things in life.
Stevia is a contrceptive.
Let's not forget Aspartame and Rumsfeld. Go take a look at that rabbit hole.
Something along the lines that aspartame is known to cause brain tumors and contribute to autism but Rumsfeld was getting big bucks from monsanto.
Made by God = good. Made by man = bad. It don’t get much simpler.
My brother in Christ, there are a lot of natural poisons out there too. In any case-
Synthetic things should never replace natural things.
I suppose I figured those were a given but since we’re diving into the weeds, poisons still have use and are not all bad. If one were to need a particular poison to build an immunity or serum of sorts, ie; anti-venom, or for other medical needs and such, I agree with you that the natural poison should not be substituted for a man made synthetic version. Peace to you brother! Numbers 6:24-26
Lol good answer.
You mean Donald Rumsfeld? During the Iraq war, his favorite thing to say was, "When are we gonna mop this up?"
Donald Rumsfeld himself. A vile creature.
This is what I was referring:

Monk Fruit sweeteners, the way to drink your cofefe
I think a little organic sugar really doesn't hurt. But personally I do without.
Good honey disappears into good coffee, and I don't even like honey. Agave is pretty good too.
Top 5 reasons never to use splenda https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/top-5-reasons-never-use-splenda
He probably anticipated this as a possibility if he rolled with RFK.
Everything will be in moderation, like a sensible civilization should be. *
Having said that, definitely get all vending machines out of schools, and make glass bottle spring water and raw milk available for free instead.
* For over 18s I mean then 🤭
Stevia!
Try Zevia brand soda if you're a soda addict; their Mountain Zevia and Black Cherry are my faves but to each his/her own.
Real cane sugar is better than any synthetic sweetener!
Besides monk fruit what else out there is not chemical soup? Coconut sugar? Organic sugar cane? We are embracing the sugarless life and the children are cheating figure it is better to hide decent sweets then them getting it from the black ( dad) market. By children I mostly mean my husband
Honey and maple syrup are awesome.
If "we" doesn't include your husband or your kids, you might want to rethink your "we are embracing the sugarless life..." description.
It's still a good thing to do, but maybe work on the buy-in more than the ingredients.
For one of them it is a literal necessity. My husband is on board until the craving hits and my youngest just needs moderation. Sugar addiction has been a major problem for us. We are really active and with the exception of my son really healthy so we never needed to address it. My husband has recently began feeling the effects of inflammation. My son is fighting cancer. The spirit is will the body is weak situation. Ironically they are the ones who are most hardcore but also the ones who fall off the wagon in glorious fashion. Just trying to get them through the cravings
Apologies if I sounded snarky. Sugar addiction is a difficult problem. If they're on board to any degree that's already a lot of progress. I'll pray for your family.
A plan will help, if you don't have a thorough plan already. There's a danger of subbing carbs (starches like chips or cereal or mashed potatos, breads or even alcohol) for sugar. Carbs are stealth sugars, causing the same long-term issues, but seen as harmless by many.
I recommend the carnivore diet, coupled with a high intake of sea salt. (The reasoning behind it is here: https://darkovelcek.wordpress.com/introduction/ and it's worth the time to understand any plan before setting out. At least for me it makes compliance much easier. He has a lot to say about inflammation and cancer as well.) After the initial change period, it's invigorating. I can feel my health improving almost daily, very easy to feel over the first few months.
It's a big shift, but worth it, if you can get the buy-in. Might be easier to start just by going low carb. I did that for a few years (and it helped- lost weight gradually and painlessly, improved circulation and energy), just a big reduction of dietary starches, before I learned about carnivore and decided to do it. Your son can recover.
Ty for the advice. Your are correct that ultimately THEY have to make the good choices. It is a battle but the most important thing is to get back up when we slip and try again. Already seeing differences myself in overall health
It looks like Allulose is getting some atta boys. YMMV
I use Swerve, its. 1-1 ratio and comes in regular, powder and brown forms. Bake and caramelizes same as real sugar. All natural, Gmo free. Draw back is possible gut irritation if you have IBS. Moderation is key to everthing.
For cravings, you can always go to dried apricots, raisins, etc. As long as they're not sugar-infused.
I hope they bring back to the original Sprite soda, you know before they added lemon to the recipe…
They put sucralose in my Optimum Nutrition protein shakes.
By the way, spell check says we're suppose to use a capital S on sucralose to show respect. 😁
RFK needs to explain to Trump why diet products are so bad, and soda in general. Make our President healthy again! (MOPHA). Besides why does he need a button, just install a mini frig in the Oval Office!
I think Elon is touting Ozempic. These people are clueless when it comes to health.
Trump,or anyone else on earth should not be drinking Diet anything.
Agreed.
Coke = Child Trafficking
Trump should launch his own cola brand...
What do you think it should be called/branded?
I keep hearing about coke being involved in child trafficking, but boss man doesn't seem to know about this.
Knowing Trump he would probably call his cola... Trump.
