One thing I’ll give people that say that is that there wouldn’t be so many translations if some versions hadn't been manipulated to some extent.

I was simply saying it's possible that through how many times the Bible has been translated, that is almost guaranteed some of it was not done accurately, either intentional or not. Children are wonderful. I have two and I love them dearly. My best friend never had any. She decided when she was 18 that she didn't want children. She made the right decision for her.
I love her dearly but she would have been a terrible mother. She has a cold, aloof, aspect to her personality that would have made any child feel unloved. So don't assume being "female" guarantees a woman will be "maternal". It doesn't. Luckily, my friend knew herself well enough to know she wouldn't be good at the job and opted out.
