The way FEMA has ignored, obstructed and denied injured parties in NC, Maui, and Palestine, OH is abhorrent.
I'm glad to see Trump showing what leadership is and how you take care of your fellow Americans that were harmed in an 'Act of Government'.
Questions I need answers to:
Why did they release the water from the dam, destroying all that property and drowning all those people anyway? Who made that call and are they going to be held accountable?
How did Hurricane Helene ramp up after it made landfall? That is unnatural and unheard of. If HAARP was behind it, who controlled it then and what persons will be held responsible for this?
Chimney Rock is upstream from Lake Lure. That dam was over flowing and couldn't be opened because logs or something clogged it up. All the water that came down through Chimney Rock was from a 5 day deluge and that gorge is narrow and steep.
They had to release the water from the dam or it would risk collapse. That is sort of what happened when Lake Oroville dam in California. They couldn't release the water and the dam failed. If you go to geoengineeringwatch.org there is a video showing how that much water was dumped in that area.
Ok. Thanks. Did it seem like they were being truthful to you?
If that was the reason, then the excess water that filled up the dam to the breaking point was caused by the unusual action of Hurricane Helene, the only hurricane known to man that increased in strength after making landfall and traveled northward for hundreds of miles, allegedly.
Absolutly, I believe them, I like to listen to Ytube videos from the farms in the area. One of these during the Storm was worried about the dam holding. It was crazy watching as the Storm happened, or at least a few hours later. Trying to get ready but all in vain.
Will DOGE be crucial in removing FEMA? There seems to be a lot of waste and abuse through FEMA. I am hoping FEMA will be completely dismantled, because we all watched the Cajun Navy, the local churches, and the Amish community come in and do what Fema couldn't/wouldn't.
It’s personal to all Americans that each area of the country and the people living there are taken care of! That is the point of having a government—to provide protection and aid and a clear path forward should something happen. Lingering issues like when New Orleans was flooded (first one I can remember being drawn out) are demoralizing and indicate a weak government and leadership.
Wait, why are we repairing private infrastructure? Are we rebuilding private homes too? If someone wants to live in a place that requires them to build a bridge, that's fine, but that is on them.
Completely agree, but maybe Trump has the evidence that the event was caused / engineered by the previous administration and if that was not done maybe it would not have been as great of a flood event that resulted in such extensive damage?
Lots of homes on private roads with bridges built long ago and no road maintainance agreements or reserves/insurance on bridges and road damage beyond regular stuff
Again, that is their choice. Just because people don't have a plan or live beyond their means doesn't mean we should just bail them out. That's how we end up with the welfare state and social security. It is all bad.
Taxes are gathered to fund PUBLIC projects and infrastructure. A private bridge, built by a private citizen or private group, is outside the purview of taxpayer-funded projects that would be worthy of taxpayer money help.

Kind of wonder if Trump knows there were DS influences that enhanced this hurricane, along with maybe the wildfires elsewhere over the past decade.
I don't know, but I hope so!
He knows
you know it, but trump doesn't. tell him!

I thought fema was fired or shut down or whatever , did I hear wrong last week ?
They are going to be investigated to determine whether they are worth change or canceling

Might as well make them do their jobs before removing them.
Will likely be handed to the states....no national FEMA.....
Man I hope they are destroyed . Ty for letting me know
It's going to get an audit. Don't think Trump can eliminate it with an executive order.
Thank you ,, darn !
Man thst audit should be great evidence to end those demons
will they do Eastern TN too?
Yay! Now don't take your eyes off these bastards til every bit of it is done!
Trucker here. After that do the whole US!! Cars don't feel it nearly as much as a truck. Our roads are crap!

Make em hurricant proof too please
No such thing as making roads hurricane proof. Especially in the mountains.
We can engineer it. There has got to be a way. We just need to understand how a road fails in a hurricane and build a solution for it.
May it be. AMEN!

Maybe, but if that was the case, then I would think the government has an obligation to rebuild their homes as well.

and seized gold will be distributed to good people!
I'm not a fan of the government getting involved with private property. Why should the government repair a private bridge?
because thats what the Amish would do.
Becuase it is what the taxpayer paids our taxes for.
