I appreciate that! Not only do other countries need to hear it but Americans who feel responsible without realizing what it actually costs! Cold hard numbers are telling!
Yeah I think a chart with a breakdown of what percent of your taxes went to what country, find, organization, etc for the tax paying people to see it’s not supporting our disabled, retired grandparents and upkeep of our country
What's sickening about this is just how little, We The People benefit from what we've paid in. But it's a gross free for all for literally everyone else on the planet somehow?
Few understand how challenging it is running your own business. In case it isn't obvious, because you've been an employee your entire life, as a business owner, you have to pay into the system, but you can never collect unemployment or anything like that if you have an unfortunate accident or something like that. You really are totally on your own. (Not complaining, simply pointing out what many don't know)

In our own America First bubble, I agree with stopping funding. However, if we take a 40,000 feet view, we need to be mindful that China has been pouring money into Africa (maybe not all countries, idk) to 'develop' areas and curry favor when it comes time to access the (African nations') natural resources that those countries cannot develop/harvest on their own. I believe that our $$ was sent to combat some of those concerns, as well as keep our fingers in the 'pot' on intelligence gathering, etc.
