My 2 cents: it's a brilliant plan on many levels. It's excellent for Gaza. Simply need to do the same with the West Bank, and Israel proper, and Jerusalem would have a special status like Washington DC. Armed forces would become National Guard or join US fed forces. AIPAC, Mossad, and alikes would naturally dissolve. Population would become US citizens. Palestinians right of return will be guaranteed or compensated. Order and context matters. There's no way for the entire population of the Palestinian people to populate that area along with outsiders from all over. The area isn't that big. This likely means a minor subgroup of probably rich Palestinians will be of the few that can return.
