This was my initial reaction. Before I agree that he broke the law I'll need to see what he was speaking about, and also who was paying him. I'm certainly not defending this clown, but an unbiased look at the speeches he gave should be the first thing that happens.

So if that is his claim, why doesn't the senate do something about his honoraria. Make him give the money back, he doesn't deserve it and he can't earn it by his description of how he got it.
