I wanted to do a little due diligence on this so I did some digging to see if there's anything out there linking Kash to enjoying paddle boarding as a hobby.
I won't claim that the search was exhaustive by any means, but I spent a good half hour using several search engines. I could find nothing. And that is an incredibly distinctive tie. One would have to really make a point of acquiring one.
So he either loves paddle boarding and he has never talked about it, or he is indeed trying to send a very pointed message.
I don't think we should fully dismiss the former as it's very rare for Kash to talk about anything in an interview other than business. And I have known many highly successful professionals that deeply enjoy the serenity of paddle boarding.
