That was my thought as well along with maybe trying to coordinate legal proceedings and arrests since everyone would be high profile and a significant flight risk.

Something definitely does not seem quite right here. Bondi was teasing the list release and now nothing. Either she is dirty here or things are happening behind the scenes necessary to accomplish before the list comes out.
We shall see.
Just spitballing here, but there's never been a serious risk of that list coming out until now, and all it is is a list of visitors. While potentially embarrassing, it doesn't really establish guilt.
So now that there's a real threat of release, the less guilty might be persuaded to help convict the really bad ones in return for lesser charges or maybe "mistakenly" falling off the list.
