And for once they would have a valid reason to be concerned. It's never a good thing to be dependent on another country. Look at Germany, they are still recovering from their energy crisis.
More than anything else, I want peace. I would love it if the US left NATO and formed an alliance with Russia. That would stop the war mongers in the world in their tracks.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was created in 1949 to protect the security and freedom of its members, especially from the Soviet Union. NATO is a military alliance between countries in Europe and North America.
There is NO MORE Soviet Union, hence, NATO needs to be disassembled.
Russia is still aligned with China right now though. If we got them to drop that then it would be a game changer. Russia doesn't matter nearly as much as China.
The real question is what is a more relevant alliance, US and Russia...or BRICS (- Russia) and Europe. Russia doesn't have a lot of sway in BRICS economically. Just militarily.
Just paying attention to the Panama Canal and Greenland, that doesn't seem to be the strategy for either China or the US at this point. The US and China are direct competitors in a zero sum game.
Remember, China wants a BRICS currency solely to break down the US dollar in terms of world trade. Trump is tariffing the crap out of them for a reason.
Edit: I don't disagree with you long-term, but short-term Russia is just a pawn in a game between China and the US. Neither China or the US can land boots anywhere in a European conflict without raising these tensions, and that's why North Korea was tapped for support and not China. WWIII will be economic.
It will always mystify me that somehow Russia, which was a great ally pre-October Revolution, is still looked down in disdain today, meanwhile Great Britain, which meant America much harm in its early years, is somehow super ultra BFFs now.
I'm mystified that China is still propped up by the U.S. with that nonsense of Most Favored Nation status that was designed for them when they were just a developing nation. We continue to help lift their people up economically and the CCP takes dumps on the U.S and other nations like clockwork. Moving our manufacturing there decades ago is still costs us all dearly. We need to normalize a working relationship with Russia quickly.
Europe doesn't have SQUAT and they're starting to beat the war drum... with the PIPE DREAM that Europe could defeat Russia and claim their minerals/oil/gas...
It's NOT going to end well for Europeans when they get their arrogant out of touch asses handed to them...
To Zelenskyy....

After funding a proxy war against Russia, that won't happen. This is about making America dependent on Russian oil and gas. Putin knows that the average American is dumb enough to fall for it. Especially now when Canada will no longer supply the US.
America has its own oil and gas, and PDJT is intent on getting it out of the ground and onto market.
Don't think it's about that. I think Putin is trying to remove any remaining bargaining chip that Z might have.
I think this is has a decent chance. If Vivek's ideas about pulling Russia out of China's orbit play out, with Ukraine now going begging to China, we could see something like this happen. 👀
Forming rare Earth partnerships with Putin would really make the lefties howl. I say do it!

I totally agree.

There is still a soviet union, it's now called the european union.
But that 2.0 version is a bad copy of the original.
That would shut down BRICS and the 2 top militaries can shut down conflicts everywhere.
NATO is globalist one world order. We all know it needs to go.
China has a stronger modern military than Russia.
And call it the world peace organization

Unless we all three were Allies. Why not? Stop the squabbling and conquer the stars together.

LOL…. I swear Putin and Trump have had something like this planned for years. Remember the ball being passed. These guys are master strategists.
Russian collusion was real.

I will forever be grateful to Russia for coming to our country's aid during the Revolutionary War and the Civil War.
We very easily could still be under the British thumb if not for them.
We will be allies once more. China as well i hope. The Three Great Empires.

Putin is TOTALLY flexing on Europe saying that!!!

Most likely we'll ended up owning part of Ukraine and will partner with Russia, even if it's to merely piss off the Royals EU NATO WEF reptilians.
Yeah, and with every day that passes, Russia repatriates more of those “Ukrainian” resources.

This is a good thing...trade with Russia. A win win for both countries plus a more stable world.
Putin actually talked about this the other day as well, except he also mentioned aluminum.
Imagine if the US and Russia become besties and Europe doesn’t get invited to the prom.
It would be great.

He's offering to cancel the Uranium One deal ("the diamond thief has to give back the diamonds")
What a plot twist. Movie is getting good. 🎬 🍿
Good business head for an ex-KGB op.
I swear... All that is going down is so surreal! What a time to be alive and witness it all!
And there it is, the olive branch of peace through economic means. Ukraine is in serious trouble now.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🇺🇸🇷🇺
If that translation is real, that is a pretty amazing diplomatic offer.
