I was at a "conference" today and at lunch two women started talking about the protests...I played super dumb and aloof:
What are they protesting?
"Oh ...hands off healthcare, hands off social security, hands off Medicaid, Elon getting government $ through Tesla, loss of govt jobs" etc etc
I kept my mouth clamped shut and just observed because A) I was outnumbered and more importantly, B) I think the number is WAY MORE than 4-6%.
We've got SO MUCH work to do to unphuck people's brains.
You have to remember.... MOST people are VERY far removed from actual productive work and especially, physical work/toiling for a living. It's been "easy money" mostly pushing paper in the air conditioning. Okay... It's been EASY MONEY for a long, long time.
Furthermore, these people have absolutely NO CLUE where money actually comes from, how money flows and where exactly all these social benefits come from and who REALLY pays for them. They honestly believe government is a never ending "daddy Warbucks" who magically has all this money to throw around with no cost to anyone.
Things have been SO EASY for so long, that these entitlements are now EXPECTATIONS... and no matter how much is doled out, it's NEVER enough. Somehow, the world OWES THEM things that in no way shape or form have any business near government... and in many cases, the expectation is ,- Give me the gibs, while simultaneously giving you, the one paying for it, the finger 🖕🏻 (nice, right?)
Reality is VERY FAR AWAY from these people and I'm not sure a single dose is enough to get people thinking right again. The 5 year old mentality of your average person reigns supreme, where the old tried and true "blame game" a la orange man bad, is a conveniently easy way to blame others and completely avoid the realities of personal responsibility.
It's really sad to witness firsthand... because these people genuinely believe they're on the right side of the proverbial argument... Nothing could be further from the truth.

Yes, the organizers and some protestors are. In some cases all are paid. The ones today definitely have paid organizers, but i can attest to multiple people attending the local protest here are not in fact paid, do have jobs, and showed up because they hate Trump.
Oh I agree he paid a ton via the ngo's he started and we funded through usaid. That said, i am friend with a few dozen libs on Facebook now for probably 14 years. Friends of my wife. Several went and posted they went on Facebook. About 1000 total people. They have jobs and didn't organize this. They just hate Trump. I stay "friends" on fb to keep up with the lefts latest talking point's.
I saw one of these protests today in WI. I was actually surprised to see it where I did, but there it was. About 50-75 people all lined up and down one of the big intersections in town, holding signs like "resist" and "impeach the felon" and (my favorite) "no tariffs!" with a cartoon picture of a penguin on it. A lot of the signs appeared to be printed or made the same way, now I know why. I guess Soros still has some money left to orchestrate stupid protests like this.
Once again they all looked like a bunch of losers, rejects, fatties, queers, traitors (they were flying Ukraine flags, who woulda guessed?), and lots, and I mean LOTS of older people/boomers. The majority seemed to be retirees or pensioners. Odd.
Unfortunately I got stopped at a light for a minute or two and was surrounded by these retards. I didn't feel like picking a verbal fight but I put my hand up to my forehead in the sign of an L for LOSERS. (Yes I know the connotations that sign has with Lucifer, but I'm 100% positive none of these idiots would understand that, only that it means "loser"). I made sure plenty of them saw it, but all the older folks were just confused.
They can scream at the sky until the sun comes up tomorrow. Donald Trump will still be their president and nothing that's coming will even slow down, let alone be stopped. If you get what I mean.

On the lefthand side of the road, there were two very fat dykes holding rainbow signs that said something to the effect of Science is Real, Black Lives, Matter, Love is Love, and I couln't read the rest of it, while driving past them but ... two people. That's all that showed up. Now ... how many of the 1,300 paid protests had numbers in the ten thousands? I'll bet the bulk of those protests only had double digits, and I'll bet only a few notably demoncrat cities surpassed the thousands mark. We outnumber them by millions, but we have been tricked into thinking they are a large population. They simply have a megaphone is all.
