There are Christian schools who spend black history month teaching about Malcolm X.

Recently figured out what bothered me so much about that. They like to talk about how bad “separate but equal” was. Well, what’s this thing then? It’s definitely separate. It’s definitely not equal. However bad the other is, wouldn’t this be … worse?
What exactly is the goal here? Hatred? Enmity? Strife? Resentment? Seems like it’s doing a good job.
How come black history month NEVER teaches about say… Thomas Sowell? What about strong men of faith? Why don’t we like… work them in to a coherent, single, unified National history and act like we’re all one people with shared goals, instead of insisting “hey, we’re going to put you people over here, by yourself”, even in a Christian school, just because that’s what The World does.
After gluttony month and sloth month, we can have anti-pride month where someone sees you napping on the couch, bloated and demands "Are you PROUD of yourself?"

I'm so old I remember when Washington and Lincoln had separate holidays.
Me too we got both days off , I thought it was burnt when they combined !
IIRC they combined so we could get a new holiday, MLK Day.
Not good enough for a new day off so instead they stole someone else's.
