She's old,in that photo. how is she supposed to look? You have to remember that people had to sit very still for a long time to get a photo back then because of how the cameras worked to even capture an image. 15 minutes of not moving if they wanted a good image that wasn't blurry. You try not blinking for that long and see how you feel. Many people didn't even get photos taken unless they were dead look up Victorian era death photos.
