IMO, the key component that this guy is leaving out is that these people were likely self-medicating because their futures had been destroyed because of globalist actions. No jobs, destroyed social fabric, etc. No hope.
As a libertarian, the most important lesson I have learned is that we do not live in a just world. We live in a world where an evil global cabal has been trying to kill us. I believe in libertarian principles, but they cannot work in an unjust world.
No system works in an unjust world, not even a republic. That's why we are failing. There is no justice, only just us.

Cnn Dr Sanjay Gupta had a special about the epidemic. Gupta said that the dosing schedule that was recommended based of pharma studies were incorrect. The dosing scheduled is what lead to post illness addictions. Many people are given these opiods post surgury without a process of weening off.

I think what happens sometimes is the dealer sells multiple products like fent, coke, meth, etc. They might use the same surface to divide out doses and not do a good job cleaning in between so the fent gets mixed up in the other stuff and fent is so potent for someone with no tolerance a tiny bit is all it takes to kill you.

When the difference between being high, overdosing and death is only about 1/4 gram of Fentanyl... and you can never be sure about the purity of the Fentanyl or if some other drug was spiked with that deadly stuff...

Arguably, the main reason drugs are so dangerous is because they are illegal. If they were treated like other substances, like alcohol or even weed, there would be consistent, regulated supplies where contamination with fentanyl would not be an issue. It would also eliminate the black market for those substances.

Well, yes, and no. Once the drugs change the brain, the goal is to get high, and boom, before you know it, the goal is to not get sick, withdrawal is what they are trying to desperatly avoid. But with all the evidence and videos and info, any kid that chooses opioids know what they are getting into, unless of course the drug is put into their bodies so they can be trafficked and pimped. Around the very rural state I live in, I would say the kids that are now addicted adults, know very well that they are playing russian roulette. Rural kids playing gangsta, they don't want beemers, they want the hundred thousand dollar pick ups, and girlfriends, and an arsenal so they can play gangsta. What happens though, is they end up dead in the woods from the real gangstas that come up from New Haven, Springield Ma, and NYC. The real gangstas that manage to get arrested, very infrequently, are paying off someone, someone in uniforms that are meant to protect and serve. If you pick up a needle or a crack pipe or a meth pipe, you may as well write your obituary now. The reason the drug cartels have so much money is because they never run out of customers. The culture glorifies it, crack introduced money that the ghettos never saw before, and the kids in the country think it will make them rich, or that drug life is somehow free, and the clean boy who gets a job at Home Depot stacking shelves and running a forklift is a sucker. So, its a combination of suicide/homocide. What makes me tear my hair out is that the big dealers never get busted because of the profits of it all. Deport, sure, np. What are we going to do about the CIA supporting cartels, and the off shore laundering bankers? If anyone is struggling, and wants to get off if it, just know that withdrawal, as unpleasant as it feels, (bad flu like symptoms, depression, anxiety) can be overcome, but one tablet of fentanyl can kill you. So messing with it is suicidal. It gets so messed up, because there are people with real pain who are reliant on opioid painkillers just to walk or function. The dependence is real, but the addiction takes place when the person takes more than they need, because they like the way it makes them feel. They need to noodle around with the drugs to make the pain reliever work very well, and remove the euphoria aspect. I am sure that is possible, but, follow the money, addiction makes a lot of people very very wealthy, don't just deport them, make them talk, and then make sure their government takes them back with some sort of protection. Oh, that's right! Their governments are loaded with beneficiaries of that drug money.
