Hmmm, maybe. I actually visualized gold bars on the ocean floor at 300 ft., lost by a sunken Spanish galleon in the 1700s, and willed them into my life. As a test, of course, but also thinking that at today's prices, two gold bars would be quite the windfall. Maybe I'll try it again later.
Maybe for some people this whole magical "Think about something, focus concentrated energy on it, and it will manifest!!" thing works. It's been described in countless ways, in hundreds of books over the decades.
For me and everyone else I know, it doesn't work.
The only thing that manifests what you want in this world is TENACIOUS, PERSISTENT ACTION.
You can be evil. You can be good. You can be fat and unhealthy. You can be fit and healthy. Doesn't much matter in terms of results. What does is action.
Look at all the fabulously wealthy alcoholics, or obese people, or bad people out there, thinking negative thoughts all day more negative than anything you or I could ever come up with. Yet what they DO, not what they think about, works for them. You can make yourself do stuff while thinking about other things.
You have to WORK for what you want. God or Jesus isn't going to give it to you, no matter how hard you ask or tell them to. Even the Bible says "Faith without works is dead."
I mean there's nothing wrong with saying positive statements to and about yourself all day instead of negative. Why not?
It's just not a "Secret", a shortcut, or magic spell to make things happen for you. Positive affirmations do work for some people (Scott Adams testifies) but there's a certain risk in devoting time each day to lying to yourself about what you have, who you are, and what you've already achieved. Nothing wrong with reminding yourself "I choose to do or have xyz" instead of "I already have xyz" when you don't.

You can think good thoughts, "think on what is good and true", the Bible even says to do so in one of Paul's letters. But the moment you start trying to "manifest your best life now" haha, you're in deceptive territory.
There's no getting around the Way, the Truth, the Life. Ask God for what you desire; don't sit there thinking you're about to bend reality with your puny little carnal mind.

I agree but there still is something to this magic stuff. I don't think it's just thinking about something but there's other things they need to do too. I think they empower their rituals with the blood of an animal they just killed. The life force of the animal goes into their "thought" or whatever they are trying to accomplish. The real real evil ones, as we all sadly know, will not use an animal but, you know what they use. Too disgusting to even type it.
The blood of animals is very powerful. The blood of humans is that much more so. There is one thing, though, which is even more powerful & that is the blood of God made flesh in Jesus Christ.
