This video and the next 4 in the series give very compelling arguments.

Matthew 24:36
But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
See the first word of the verse? BUT. That means it is referring to the verse before it. That verse is talking about the destruction of Earth and Heaven and the creation of the new Earth and Heaven. That is the day no one knows. Jesus said we would know he was coming and to look for signs in the heavens. This might be the most misquoted verse in the bible
Matthew 25
The Parable of the Ten Virgins
1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ 9 “ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. 11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ 12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ 13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Means we do not know the exact time. But the signs in the Heavens (sky) will be enough for us to know it is soon and in a verse further down Jesus tells us to be on the lookout. The signs will tell you the end is near. To further expand on this, as a Christian, you will know the time is near. But not the exact time. I know Jesus is coming back in my life time. The signs are there and I have been watching. When? IDK but it will happen when i least expect it(at work, walking, driving) but i still KNOW it will happen. My concern is todays Christians take this verse to mean that it will not happen anytime soon or even in their lifetime(my Dad is a perfect example).
You really want to read it to favor your own preference.
From Mark 13: "21 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. 22 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." and " 26 “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory." This is the "time" that verse 36 refers to. It could not be more explicit.
Seek to predict this time, and be lost in vanity.
This verse literally means that you will know it is Jesus because he will appear to all at once. So the guys hiding in a cave or the woods or coming out if a country that claims to be the Christ are not even worth your time. ALL will see the return of Christ. The blind, those asleep, and those hiding underground. ALL. Your post proves nothing about the original topic.
It is the referent to which the quotation refers. Meaning, don't get wrapped-up in prediction of the time, since there will be plenty of meaningless portents and false alarms.
And if it doesn't arrive as you anticipate? Do you renounce your faith at the disappointment? I'm not expecting it. If it arrives, it will be no different than death: unexpected, final, and at the mercy of Christ.
Lonewulf is correct. You misquote to prove a misquote and he shows the entire context.
He covers this well in the videos.
To be honest, people said the same exact thing when comet Hail Bop came around. People were screaming, "it's end time!!". I remember people losing their ever loving shit over it.
True, I've lived long enough to have seen this play out several times in the past few decades. But to the OP's point about "is this the rapture?" .... I don't think so. God exists outside of space and time as we know it, and can manifest immediately wherever and whenever He pleases. God would not need an interstellar device to travel over vast expanses of space, He just manifests. End of story.
It is the end times. 100 years is just a blip of eternity.
It didn't help that a cult that called itself "Heaven's Gate" killed itself. Anybody remember Marshall Applewhite?
I though that was hillarious frankly. They had such cool sneakers.
Look at daniel 9:20-27 The seventy sevens
I believe the church has bought into a lie for political reasons. After the 69 sevens ends (John the bapist baptizes Jesus) the last 7 starts. Jesus 7 year ministry TO THE JEWS starts. Notice that the 70x7 concerns the Jewish nation (verse 24). In the middle of that final 7 years he is cut off. We know he was killed and rose again. For the next 3 1/2 years after he rose the gosple went out to the Jews only. then Peter saw the vision of the sheet of unclean animals. At that point they understoud that now the gospel goes out to all people. The 70x7s was then complete. People have twisted the scripture (Daniel 9:27) to say it is talking about the antichrist making a covenant but it really is talking about Jesus and the new conenant . this is not about an antichrist setting up an abomination in a temple of a now false religion. Jesus brough an end to the sacrifice and offering bvy HIs death but the Jewish leaders rejected Him. They continued to sacrifice animals which was the abomination that lead to the desolation of the temple in 70ad. That was the end of God dealing with the Jews as the chosen people. What God chose them for was now complete. At that point forward they were just like everyone else.
I do not believe that Jesus will return in the way people think. We have been called to worship in Spirit and Truth. Not by sight.
There was a time when God walked with man (not the time of Jesus) It was before Adam and Eve sinned. Adam an Eve lived in the garden of Eden which was a temple. A temple is a place where Heaven and earth meet. We are a temple of the Holy Spirit. We don't believe that so we want to be able to see Him.
Dasting take!
Jesus is not going to come back like Superman and save us. "Jesus coming back" imo, refers to humanity collectively achieving Christ Consciousness which would end The Fall. Mystic Christianity makes way more sense for anyone that doesn't subscribe to the "Believe Jesus is God or your going to burn in hell for eternity" type of Christianity. The Church is obviously evil and always has been from it's inception.
Blasphemy! The Christ consciousness idea is pure evil and suggest we ourselves are gods. I suggest you reread your bible and search your heart
Mystic Christianity was what existed during the time of Christ and is what was practiced until the Catholic Church came around 400 years later and corrupted everything.
you say this but there is absolutely no proof and the Bible preaches against this.
Let's run a thought experiment. What happens if the Bible never existed or all copies of the suddenly bible disappeared. Are you saying humanity would be incapable of finding God without it? You are saying we cannot awaken from within?
I do not deal in WHAT IFS. The bible has survived DESPITE the fact that Satan rules this world and has tried to destroy it. We are not gods.
Not to agree with him, but John 10:34 (24-39)?
Yep. Exactly.
The Rapture the way people understand it today has less to do with the Bible and more to do with the teachings of John Nelson Darby.
This definitely makes the most sense to me too.
Interesting: the word "rapture" does not appear in a single Q post.
As much as i want this to happen, Him coming back and cleaning up the evil of this world, i don't think his return is just yet.
Well I would say watch the videos and decide after.
I haven't watched them all yet, but scripture tells of a very severe withholding of the Christian presence before Christ's bodily return. (Luke 18:8 & Rev. 12:17 & Rev. 14:12 implies scarcity)
Leading up to that there's many other things that need to take place, like the reign of the anti-Christ who will trick most of the world, people with boils from the mark of the beast, etc.
I am fully open to the possibility that i'm wrong on this, i'm just a mortal too, but for now i'm going to chalk this up to datefagging. That's experience talking, i've been datefagging with these for these for almost 40 years and none ever panned out.
So, how many times did you lose your ever loving shit?
Hahahahaha... just kidding. Bedminster's comment made me laugh.
I can identify with your comment.
since 1999/2000 it's been all downhill on my datefagging.
Did we miss the 2 witnesses??
This video series makes the case for pre-trib.
Anyone can downdoot all they want, but if the tribulation shows up, and someone has been expecting a “pre-trib rapture”, and planned accordingly, they are going to find they do not have oil in their lamps and were counted among the 5 foolish virgins, per the scripture LoneWulf noted above.
https://greatawakening.win/p/19BtUVvKsd/x/c/4eVLjfOugbq
Would I rather get more downdoots or answer to not giving an appropriate warning?
Everybody always wants to be pre-trib, cause it’s the path that involves the least effort. Kinda hard to blame em, the tribulation is probably gonna suck.
The servant is not greater than the master, though. His Peace is for while we are in trials.
Since no man knows the time or hour of Christ return i doubt you do.
I promise you this: when God, Jesus, and his Angels get here, we will know it. I bet GAW and 4Chan will know it before anyone, as GAW 4Chan knows things far in advance of it happening so many times.✨⚔️✨🤣♥️✨
Will we? Or will us conspiracy theorists think it's Project Blue Beam and normies think we're being invaded by aliens...
Serious date-fagging... Rapture will occur before the next Day Of Atonement. We will soon find out if that is true. I mean, I am more of the kind that believes in just staying ready for departure because you never know what day it 's going to be. But, we will certainly see what's up with this interstellar visitor.
❤️
This might shake your world a bit, but- there's nothing in scripture or in Jesus' teachings, or in any apostolic writings about anything like this concept of a rapture. That was an invention quite recently by Scofield, and if you dig into it, there's really not much to support it. I found this out after having read all the Left Behind fiction series and finding the idea very cool, and then looked into it and... yeah, nothing.
Christ is coming back for a “spotless bride.” We ain’t nowhere near that yet
Spotless refers to us being covered with the blood of Christ. You are ready the day you are Reborn.
The spotless bride means true born-again Christians. What we are nowhere near yet is the Gospel being preached around the world, and that is thanks to the Catholic Church.
Could 3l/Atlas be the star Wormwood?
Reading through the comments, religion like much in life, it gets us caught up in the semantics.
The important thing is, we believe the same thing, we don't have to believe the same way.
