🖲️ Skyet poll: GAW opinion on ID checks?
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
List of things I believe ID should be required for:
- Voting
- Running for office
- Becoming a citizen from foreign country
- Strip clubs, bars / night clubs, escort services
- Porn or gore websites, dating websites
- Alcohol, drugs, tobacco purchases (online and IRL)
- Being hired at a job
- Joining the military
- Picking up children from a school or event
- Getting a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- ...anything else, anons? please comment below! I am updating this list with the new additions. If I disagree with your submission I will wait for you to walk me through the Constitutionality of it. If I agree yet someone else disagrees, I will wait for them to walk me through the Unconstitutionality, and then remove it.
List of things I believe ID should in no way be required for:
- Everything not listed in the above
Photo ID = Fine
Digital "all your base are belongs to us" tying your body/eye scan/anal swab to your Internet access, bank account, social credit score & medical records - get phucked.

No, and not for buying a gun either. Enforce the law and you wont need to infringe on our 1st or 2nd amendment rights. Everything else, yes. Bring back real education so people don't doom and get addicted to weird sex stuff. If they still really want to be degenerates that is on them. Does Russia require ID for this kinda stuff? Do they have a major degeneracy problem? No. They have strong churches and good schools. People in general will choose good things if they are available and encouraged. We live in a spyop society where garbage is pushed. This is all that needs to change. Know the truth and the truth will set you free
I disagree on this due to having 25 years field/educational experience to stand on my opinion. At least having them scan your ID will assist in making sure you’re not about to go shoot up a school, family, or yourself. I’m in Cali and did the 5150 evals for locked psyc treatment for 18 of my 25 years as a social worker. I’m totally okay with your ID being checked to make sure you’re not 75% more likely to go postal with a serious mental health issue.
Which would be great and all if NICS referred that info back to the FFL, but it doesn't.
The best you get on a federal level is a Proceed/Deny/Delay with no other info, and you will only get a Deny if you are involuntarily committed. That's going to be a minority of cases at the best of times.
It’s 3 days max here in Cali to have a psychiatrist decide/eval if you can be held/locked down. If the 5150 is upheld you lose your firearms and right to buy up to 5 years max. If the 5150 is rescended, your firearms and/or right to purchase must be returned within 30 days max; per that psychiatrist’s order to a County judge. The judge himself cannot overrule a psychiatrist’s order to rescend and return the firearms/purchase power, unless a crime is also involved with the initial detention.
If this all makes sense. I think the Fed law should be 100% identical; if a blanket one was made. I’d want to write it for them in US Code to be sure it’s worded correct with zero room for either political side to wiggle the law for agendas.
The issue though is for that to have any teeth, you need a gun registry so you know what to take, stringent regulation on private sales so the registry doesn't fall behind, further regulations to prevent FOSSCAD/DIY after the fact, etc.
This is without considering the general devil-may-care attitude that police and psychiatrists may take towards those with that inclination. Take one Australian as example: Martin Bryant. Despite having several run ins with police leading up to 1997, as well as active psychiatric help (Martin was prescribed anti-depressants as early as 5 years before) anyone in position to actually do anything, didn't.
Agreed.
Lets have a vote on it after we get rid of all the dangerous criminals that were allowed in to the country and the preexisting ones that were let out on no bail for murder, and etc by the dems and rinos. Then we can see who wants to trade more of their freedom for "security".
Come on guys. We all know that if psycho shooter psyops and dem crime chaos cities weren't happening we wouldn't even be talking about this issue. It isn't even a real issue until they make it one by not enforcing preexisting laws.
Interesting. Can you walk me through the unconstitutionality of such checks briefly?
Flying commercial airlines. Opening a bank account. Taking out a bank loan.
Not too sure about flying. Not nationally, anyway. Do you need an ID for a taxi?
Remember, 9/11 was a false flag.
Really, it also seems like banks should be able to keep track of their customers without a national ID.
u/Winn buying and selling real estate.
Between the 3 credit bureaus and Chexsystems, they practically already do.
You're giving me great pause. Anyone else thing these should be removed from ID list?
Tricky one. I believe like most commentors that the less is better. But when it comes to banking, if someone wants to make a withdrawl from an account, how else can you verify its the account holder making said withdrawl? Without some form of ID, I could go into any bank, claim to be Joe Shmoe, ask for every penny in the account and they'd give it to me. ID, I think, is needed for banking, otherwise a lot of scumbags would drain a lot of innocent people's accounts.
u/bubble_bursts might be able to educate on this matter with the 'anonymous hashes' idea he has presented to me before
Interesting. I'd love to hear it u/bubble_bursts whenever time allows. As long as it doesn't involve sacrificing something else, like our DNA, fingerprint, retinal scan, etc.
I had written a detailed comment a few weeks ago, I will try to pull it out.
But basic idea:
You have government that issues you the digital ID. They verify your official documents - passport, DL, birth certificate etc and they create an encrypted digital certificate "blob" (basically just a bunch of letters and numbers that mean nothing to anyone).
Only you can decrypt that digital certificate. Once encrypted, even the issuer cannot decrypt it - uses one way encryption.
Now I am a bank and I want to make sure you are an American and >18 before I give you a loan. (Just example). I can now exchange digital bits with you, based on your digital certificate you have, and be able to verify that you are indeed American and >18 years old. I wont know your name, your address or your actual age even.
At no point in this transaction, does any data need to go outside the two of us. Not to the government. Not to a central authority. Nothing. All pure maths baby.
Now I open you an account and I give you my own digital certificate that says you are an account holder and your account number is XYZ. I encrypt it for you and send it to you.
Next time you want to withdraw cash, we repeat the same process, but this time using the certificate the bank gave you and I can verify that you are indeed the account holder XYZ. I now check your balance, process your transaction, update balance and we are done. If the transaction is via crypto, I wont even need to see you nor do I need to deliver you anything physical.
Important points:
"DNA, Fingerprint, retinal scan" can be used in this system - but only to create your private encryption key, which you NEVER send to anyone. So you DO NOT need to share your biometrics with the government or any central agency. You simply use them to create your encryption key on your own device.
This is how you and only you will be able to decrypt the certificates. Alternately, you can use passwords or "security USBs" instead of biometrics. They have their own pitfalls and most people will end up preferring biometrics instead.
Very interesting. Thx for the info. It would seem like going this route may also eliminate the dependency on SS#s, which are used for so many things and too easily stolen or compromised in security breaches. That's another problem that needs attention IMO. SS#s are floated around way too willy-nilly
u/Winn check my other reply, but also this:
From the inception of Social Security until 2008 or so, you only needed an address and a name to request a new social security card.
Not only was the number itself a completely insecure, but the method of getting access to documented proof was as well.
Oh and it’s illegal to use a social security number as an identifier.
Also, I forgot about issuing loans (commercial and savings banks need to be reseparated btw). Banks need ID to issue loans to be sure of nationality, per u/bubble_bursts
Although actually, loans need to go back to a more sensible method. Pure fiat loans are probably insane (no withholding, loan creates new money, interest to pay the loan isn’t created). Fully backed loans may make capital too scarce. Crypto and AI may make it possible for anyone to be a loan issuer / funding supplier. We are going to be needing entirely new financial system(s).
u/knew2u
Very interesting 🧐🧐
Hmmm. An ID to access funds from a bank vs. a password to access an email inbox seem different.
Sidenote, love the geocities.com reference!! Takes me back to the glory days of Netscape Navigator, AltaVista and excite.com.
Once the account is set up, not really. They give you a card that has the routing and account numbers encoded, and outside of that, you’re secured by a 4 digit pin.
The pin is the direct equivalent to the password, everything else would be like the certificate store and encryption later and vpn or whatnot. From the UI side, this leaves it infinitely less secure than an 8-24 alphanum with 1u/l/p. All the security is built into whether the account should be allowed to be created, and interface from your “key” (debit card) to the account itself. License validates account creation legality and identity for credit scoring and such and maybe some other background things we don’t know about (criminal flagging, etc)
Gotta love good old nutscrape.
tyvm, added to list
-edit removed from list, scroll down
u/#bahaha
Wow. You are really, really old.
Glad you are here. Still.
Sigh.
u/#Correct!
What happens when you give the Gov't more control? They abused it to the extreme. Enforce the laws on the books that are Constitutional.
If you vette the people coming into the country you don't need ID for them to move about within it.
That's a hard "NO!" to ID to fly.
Digital ID for anything online is a "No"
Over 90% of the idiocy the government pull for "saftey" or "for the children" is just more restrictions on the populace who have not violated any laws.
Ok, valid. Removing ID to fly! u/TheVerboten1 have a counter to this?
Job in a business, yes. Job for a private person with only a few workers, no. People should be able to choose to hire a babysitter, hire a young person to cut the grass, etc without all the hassle of requiring formal, government issued ID.
picking up a child other than your own from a school activity.
(happened to me recently picking up my son and his buddy, and I was on the approved list, and very glad they checked so some freakshow can't say "dur, uh, yea, I'm little Jimmy's second uncle")
Also, I despise the real ID b.s. and wish it was abolished
Ah good one. Added +
Purchasing property in the US - must be a citizen to purchase US property
oh man you're killing me. Now I have to add it 😢 u/bubble_bursts bro save me, tell me there's another way 😭😭😭
Yep, you can use ZPK to prove you are a citizen of a country without letting them know who you are!
Thank you!
Removed! ty
😆😆😆
Going onto a military base as a guest
Getting a DRIVERS LICENSE.
Many say drivers licenses are themselves unconstitutional, which is why I purposefully excluded them. CDL's, on the other hand.... added +
Yes.
I refreshed to see any new comments and see that someone has downvoted the poll! LOL who downvotes a poll and doesn't say anything 🤣 I am weak shill
I don’t have a good answer for this, but wait till I draw up a thread on why we have drivers licenses in the first place.
Does anybody know? (Don’t give the details if you do, kek)
Did Americans have ID’s before that? Good question. Should we have? How could they have conceivably been managed?
Minus the bank account part.
How much money I have and what I do with it should never be the business of the government.
Give me a bank card with a picture or other biomarkers when I open the account and let me pick a secure pin and password.
I want the same freedoms I have with crypto ideally.
I don't want to be debanked like many people have been because of political or religious excuses.
If I'm asking for a loan or a credit card or mortgage then we can go further obviously.
Valid! Removing the segment. u/TheVerboten1 u/RedPillQ17 counter?
Absolutely!
I just realized I misspelled Skynet FUCK
kek.
was gonna make some smart-ss quip about you coining a new word, (which sounds very Yiddish or Russian to me(?)), but thought the better of it.
I say we just go with Skyet from now on. It'll catch on.
I'm so mad
I'd add:
I will add buying a home for the mere fact that people use credit mostly, but feel like you should be able to buy one with cash and not ID.
I disagree with the other two and would need Constitutional basis for them.
Well, re: my second bullet above, illegals all over the country have been getting driver's licenses without IDs (and getting to vote).
Re: my third bullet above, my experience with license to carry is that you must have a Driver's License (your LTC is attached to your Driver's License) and you must also get fingerprinted beforehand. You have to provide govt-issued photo ID when you're fingerprinted too. These rules are already in place in my state as I went through these steps. No clue if this is the norm for other states - I just know what my state put me through to get this.
Passports
Buying a firearm.
I thought about that but then remembered the whole "shall not be infringed" bit... idk. I am conflicted
It is one of those conflicting things, but I think it's important to keep them out of the wrong hands. I think anyone that can and does pass a background check should be able to buy and carry a gun anywhere in the United States. Your citizenship and felony free background should be your permit.
Shall not be infringed kinda means just that tho.
If you can't have a gun you shouldn't even be free on the street. If you served your sentence your rights should return with your freedom. Why do others get to declare you permanently less equipped to defend yourself?
No. That is why we have the 2nd amendment. A large majority of shootings are done by criminals who use illegal guns anyway. Enforce the law and bring back the death penalty for murder along with public executions and you will have less crime than ever. No need for gun control if criminals aren't gonna follow the law anyways.
Most of you are confusing the issue. Tracking is not the problem and will never go away. It's the abuse of the tracking that is the issue. Create a better tracking system that can't be exploited. I really shake my head.... cellphone, Mac address, cellphone tower access records and if you're avoiding tech and not creating data? You're obviously not a valuable part of your community...so news flash.... YOU ARE ALL ALREADY TRACKED and have been for 30 years. The reveal is AFTER your escape routes have been guarded... you are fighting Digital ID Like you're doing something noble.... YOURE ALREADY TRACKING YOURSELF! Digital ID was put in place a DECADE ago. It's the abuse of it that's the problem. They are using the same tracking to catch the pedos now. HAHA, seriously... take a step back and LOOK. Think about all the hoops the criminals actually do have to jump through. They DO need to rig elections and they DO need to make payoffs and the DO need to use communication channels. They are and have been tracked just like you and me and I am very thankful that the surveillance will be used properly to find real exploitation and corruption. Long live accountability in the public space!!!!!
And now they want to reveal it officially and get us to give them our approval. Kek
Fuck no.
You're sounding like Tristan Tate https://greatawakening.win/p/19BtGT1nQS/andrew-tate-tristan-tate-brother/c/
Are you saying we should go ahead and forfeit the rest of our Fourth Amendment, just because they've already been violating it for decades? Are you a special kind of stupid?
