A lot of people I grew up in the church with are going to get a rude awakening when they realize St. John in Revelation called it the "Synagogue of Satan" for a reason. S Y N A G O G U E -of- S A T A N.

Jesus came to teach the Jews where they were wrong because Judaism and real Jews (for the umpteenth time) had gone FAR astray from the practices of Abraham.
Judaism had been co-opted by evil and was being run by, as He put it, a "den of vipers."
So yeah, "real Jews" have, many many times in the Bible, relapsed back into idle worship.
That's why God let the Romans utterly crush them in 70 A.D. Fun fact: more than one historian of the time, including Josephus, a Jew, claimed there was an army in the clouds with flaming swords above Jerusalem immediately before their defeat and 70 A.D.
Let that one sink in.
And if you disagree, then do you think the near-complete annihilation of Israel and the Jews in 70 A.D. was AGAINST GOD's WILL???

Careful here… when John says “synagogue of Satan” he’s talking about specific groups in Smyrna & Philadelphia who were persecuting Christians - not all Jews everywhere.
Same in John 8 - Jesus confronts leaders resisting Him, not every Jewish person.
Also, Paul makes it clear in Romans 11 that Israel still has a future in God’s plan.
So it’s not “Christ vs. the Jews,” it’s Christ vs. unbelief - whether Jew or Gentile.

My quote was taken directly from a dialogue Jesus was having with a group of Jewish religious leaders when they wanted to stone him. This conversation is from John chapter 8. Jesus did not raise Lazarus until chapter 11. So the Jews were NOT YET persecuting Christians at this point in the book of John.

Those Christians' loyalty does NOT lie with Christ, but with some preachers "interpretation." Their own words here, when contrasted to Jesus's words, prove the point.

This is very easy to do...when you don't actually read the Bible. I would bet that less than 1 in 100 churchgoers who profess to be Christian, have read the Bible in its entirety even one time.
"All Scripture is God breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16-17)." All Scripture is God breathed but not all Scripture is God's speaking. Satan's speaking is recorded, and Job and his friends spent almost the whole book speaking what was not God's speaking at all. They had to repent and offer a sacrifice. Nevertheless, it's all there for our learning, to show us what is wrong, and how to make it right. This reveals God to us both what He is and what He is not. Don't despise the black. The same people who wrote down the red also wrote the black.
I was that guy. Then I took the challenge to read the Bible from cover to cover. I did so twice. When I read the Old Testament, I was shocked. From attending church, I had heard the Old Testament, I mean, verses, but when I read the Old Testament from beginning to end, God is NOT a nice old guy sitting in the clouds.
This is exactly why I haven't attended a physical church since childhood. I don't trust those who stand 3 feet above me, telling me what the Bible says. I do fellowship at work but it's random. I just have to continue to visit them until I feel right about it (with help from our Holy Spirit)
My pastor, when he was in a physical building, always put his Bible and notes on the front pew for this very reason. He didn’t like the elevation and podium look. He also allowed parishioners to raise their hands if they had a question. He says there is no sense going forward because they’ll be left at the sticking point. No he does church via Skype.
By my understanding, when the Romans destroyed the Second Temple, they didn't leave ANY of the Temple Stones in tact, or usable, and not even a single Stone was left in its designated place....
So this ""Wailing Wall"", must then be part of a Roman Government Building....
Along with all of that, it's my understanding that every Levite Priest was also Killed, so they no longer have their Priests, although they now have ""Rabbis"", but historically, a Rabbi is not the same as a Priest....
JohnTitor17, every time I pray usually in the morning before I get up, I always pray a Holy Spirit prayer in one of the sentences says “Spirit of the Lord, God of Israel” instead I always said “Holy Spirit, God of the real Israel and the world, have mercy on us”, by the way I was born on April 17, which God is always telling me his plans about me in advanced, I have never been married and I believe he wanted me to do something else, yes I had even a fiancé who passed away two days after he tried to marry me, weird things have happened to me when I had a boyfriend. Few days ago I asked him that I didn’t want to sin to let me know if I can come back with my ex and we were trying so suddenly the same day I prayed, he said it was not a good idea he was mad at me for some reason but it was from God. He really loves us just have to pray and let God to do his job. God bless

While the corruption of the pharisaic branch of Judaism is accurately described, remember that the messianic branch of Judaism (within the church) reached a peak demographic of about a million, a number it has recently reclaimed; and that the OG synagogue of satan and its defeat by the Holy Spirit before 108 AD has been historically found.
